is a man not entitled to the sweat dripping down his own balls?

‘No!’ Says Lil Jon, ‘it belongs to the window.’

‘No!’ Say the Ying Yang Twins, ‘it belongs to the wall.’

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity

I'm begging other trans people to read an ounce of Black Feminist or Decolonialist Feminist writing. I'm on my hands and knees and begging you. I promise you, I promise you, there is so much more to Feminist theory than anything you have picked up from White/Radical/Pop/Liberal Feminism I promise you. Read There Is No Hierarchy Of Oppressions By Audre Lorde. I have a link to the PDF right here you can read it for free. Take my hand I can't do this alone (thanks glass beach). Peace And Love On Planet Earth.

I've recommended them a thousand times but Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall, White Tears, Brown Scars by Ruby Hamad, and Mediocre by Ijeoma Oluo are excellent reads for those wanting to understand some of the voices of the brown women behind intersectional feminism (and in Mediocre's case, in politics and society as a whole in comparison to white men), and how we aren't being heard in white feminist spaces. Some Kimberle Crenshaw as well for the origin of (the term) intersectional feminism, even!

the fact that we need 8 hours of sleep is ridiculous we should only need 4 and the other 4 should be used to be cozy in your bed and rub your legs together like a cricket and listen to music and think about your little scenarios

I have to add that gender euphoria for cis people doesn't always come from like, conforming to your gender in a "stereotypical" way

I've always been very comfortable with my gender but I didn't Really Like being a woman until I cut my hair short and started dressing/presenting more "masculine."

When i realized that I could look "manly" as a woman I truly felt comfortable and really...more "like" a woman. I enjoy being masculine and it strengthens my connection to womanhood and it's just kinda cool

Do you have any tips on how to have a good urban-fantasy worldbuilding plan for the story?

World Building for Urban Fantasy

I don't write urban fantasy so I don't have a lot of personal world building tips. If I were going to write urban fantasy, I would start by fleshing out the normal world (when and were the story takes place, what this setting is like, etc. -- I would also choose a real city or town and use that as my setting or inspiration for a fictional city or town. (My post Setting Your Story in an Unfamiliar Place covers this.) Next I would flesh out the fantasy part of this world and how it fits into the normal world. Who is part of this parallel fantasy world and why? What types of people/creatures, etc. live there? Who knows about it and why? Who has access to it and why? Where and how does it intersect with the non-magical world, and how is it kept hidden? In what ways do the magical people interact with the normal world? You'll also need to flesh out your magic system. (see: 5 Tips for Creating a Magic System) and figure out who has magic, why, and how it's used.

Hopefully that will get you started in the right direction! :)
