“I KNOW THIS LOOKS BAD,I mean-the bleeding, the cuts, and bruises but,” Barry exhales as he walks into their apartment, slumping onto the couch and turning his gaze towards Jess, “It was A LOT worse before, but-you know, accelerated healing helps that.” He bites his lower lip and drifts his gaze away, “That-that sounded A LOT more reassuring in my mind, honestly.” Granted, trying to reassure a DOCTOR (especially one you’re going to marry) that your injuries aren’t that bad won’t work regardless of a healing factor or not.

                             SHE HATES NIGHTS LIKE THESE. when she doesn’t even have to turn on the news to get wind of what was going on across the city - she could basically see it from their window. it’s late when the door finally opens and worried, brown eyes are immediately on him. scanning him from head to toe, her jaw tightens. he looks awful and her heart aches at the thought of almost losing him again.  ❛  if you’re trying to ease my mind right now, you’re doing the opposite.  ❜  torn between wanting to check on him and being mad.  ❛  did caitlin already take a look at you  ?  ❜
