It’s winter break, but Character A doesn’t want to go back home to their family…it’s complicated.

Torn AU

The holidays are always difficult for Character A: the shop is always a bit colder, fewer people stumble in looking for a classic to curl up with by the fire – and it’s all made a bit worse after they are given news that their grandkids wouldn’t be able to make it this year due to one issue or another. They had stopped accepting excuses a very long time ago.

They had already read every book there was to be read, so while they closed their eyes to take a short nap during one of the least busy times of the year, it was unsurprising that they heard the very quiet ripping noise, like a chapter being torn from its bindings, echoing silently from the corner of the shop, followed by the soft click of the back door closing and small bare feet running into the night.

Fairyland AU

Character A is bored with their life – everything seems monotonous, so Character A decides to go seek out the land of the fairies in an attempt to break up their incredibly boring life. 

Character B is a fairy who’s honestly doing just fine, thank you very much, so they can’t really say they are all too thrilled when Character A comes crashing through their fairy circle.

Looking to escape their high-stress job in the city, Character A decides to treat themself to a holiday in the country.

It was a good idea at first, you know, but then they realize that this is honestly the most boring thing to which they’ve exposed themself.

Character A and Character B used to be a crime fighting duo by night, but that changed when Character B was captured and experimented on by villain!Character C. Now, Character C has brainwashed Character B into thinking that they’re a villain, and that Character A is their mortal enemy.
