hello and welcome to my blog! i figured i should redo and update this now that it's 2024 ^^
allow me to introduce myself: i'm kozy or tuna (she/her), probably a lesbian (and always having a crisis about it). i've been involved in fandom communities since i was around ten years old, originally introduced through warrior cats on fanfiction.net. i've expanded since then haha. learn more about my fandoms and interests under the cut :)

You know, it’s actually super dangerous that Duke Thomas is Gotham’s only daylight hero. That boy has no back up. DC should make The Whistle part of the main continuity and make them team up. I feel like Duke “would kill a god” Thomas would get along great with Willow “I attacked Poison Ivy with a pair of scissors” Zimmerman.
why is no one talking about Gotham Cities new 16 year old Jewish superhero??
Willow Zimmerman aka “whistle” is so cool and the first new jewish DC hero in 40 years!
she has totally cool superpowers, enhanced hearing, enhanced smell(etc..) and she can communicate with seemingly all dogs to some extent
she protects the jewish neighborhood “Downriver” in Gotham city and actively jewish, no more snippets of a character maybe celebrating hannuka, she’s actually actively proudly jewish!! i’ve never had this kind of representation before!
but nobody has been talking about her here, she’s a big deal, the world of comics were built by jewish men back in the early years(Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, etc) yet this amazing form of storytelling has been moved so far away from jewish culture
Whistle and her side kick puppy ‘The Hound’ aka Leibowitz(after Fran, who else) are so cool and I personally need to see more of her but as it always is with comics, we won’t get much unless we show some major support so if all my lovely dc comics fans out their could rally and show Willow and Leibowitz some love that would be greatly appreciated!

no thoughts only whistle. that fact that her origin story is so wrapped up in ivy. like she was THERE when she got attacked. she almost died and found out her friend was the villain targeting her neighborhood in the same like 15 minutes. this very dear friend who later unknowingly tries to kill her. and they both still care about each other!
