The Bed Habit

This is inspired by the recent Amelia/Alex scene in 13x06.

She does this thing…

We’d never really talked Amelia and I. We co-existed. I’m friends with Meredith, and Maggie managed to wiggle her way into my circle through her, but Amelia and I? We just… shared the same space. And then that day happened. I was quietly sat on the sofa in the attendings lounge and she stormed in and was pissed about something. I was at a point of my trial where I had nothing to do but sit and wait. I was at peace with sitting and waiting, so I decided to offer a sounding board to the person I shared a space with.

She told me about her baby. She talked to me, and I listened to her harrowing story. She turned up on the doorstep of Meredith’s house a few nights later, and by then I was not at peace with sitting and waiting. So I snapped and told her to sort her crap out with Owen, and she answered with a devastating expression on her face which led me to give her my bed.

The following morning, I woke up with a painful shoulder twinge and a bad back from sleeping on the sofa. I went to my bedroom, quietly knocked on the door and heard a sleepy, “Come in.” I moaned about my back hurting from the sofa and she patted the bed beside her, a sign for me to join her. She thanked me for giving her ‘her’ bed back and I laughed, reminding her she had a husband and a home of her own now. She sighed and the conversation turned to Owen. That was the first time.

She does this thing…

One of my favorites !!!

Oblivion - Part 1

I’ve been having trouble recently coming up with ideas for fics, so thank you so much to all the lovelies who gave me prompts - I now have ideas coming out of my ears! I would like to thank the anon who requested this fic, and I hope you like it!

Could you write a story based on the song oblivion by Bastille? - Anon

I have decided to make this a two-parter based on different lyrics of the song. Hope you all enjoy!

When you fall asleep, with your head upon my shoulder. When you’re in my arms, but you’ve gone somewhere deeper.

It had been such a stressful day at the hospital for both Owen and Amelia, and they were ready to retire their lab coats for the night and return back to their home together. Hand in hand, they both made their way into their home, and up to their bedroom. Amelia had been wanting to see this movie for ages, so Owen had surprised her a week ago with the DVD for them to watch together in bed. The only problem was that they had been so busy with work that they hardly had the time to even spend time together, let alone watch a movie together, but finally they had an evening to themselves and they intended to spend this evening watching this movie together.

One of my favorite songs and my favorite couple👌👌

Thread, Gone III

I - II

“You certainly do look a lot like Derek.” Emma said to Amelia. “Tell me more about yourself!”

She had known the woman for nearly two hours and she already wanted to strangle her. That chirpy voice was making her nervous. Aside from her, she had met April Kepner, a red headed woman who seemed to be a nice person –though her voice was way more high-pitched than Emma’s- and her husband Jackson Avery. Alex Karev and Arizona Robbins, both pediatric surgeons, along with Maggie Pierce, the woman who had helped her found Owen’s office, were the three people who she had liked the most. Richard Webber seemed like a sweet man, and she suspected that he also had a problem with alcohol, because aside from her, he was the only one who had rejected a glass of wine when offered. That, or he was plainly weird.

And of course, there was Owen. He was sitting next to Emma and –much to her dislike- across from her. He hadn’t even looked her way since he arrived and he was yet to say a word to anyone aside from his fiancée.

“There’s not much to tell about me.” Amelia said, putting a fake smile on her face. “I’m the youngest in my family, also a neurosurgeon, went to Harvard…”

“Married? Do you have kids?” Emma kept interrogating her.

“No and no.”

“But you’re in a relationship right?”

“Um…” Amelia looked around the table for someone to help her out, and finding that every other person was staring expectantly at her, she sighed. “I had something like that back in LA, where I live. But it’s been over for a while now.”

“You know who’ll be able to tell us a lot of things about Amelia?” Meredith said, gazing straight at Owen, who chocked on his wine.

So happy to finally read this!! You're amazing❤

DIY - Plumbing

A series of oneshots involving Owen and Amelia redecorating their house. Set 12x23 onwards.

This one is dedicated to Phillip, Philippa, @bafy-usy, and anyone else who requested a bath scene.

WARNING: Flut… fluffy and shmutty… Happy Teaseday.

The painting was finally complete. A fresh coat had been applied to the entire house, every wall in every room, and Amelia was insisting that before they discussed what they were going to do with the main living space, she wanted their ensuite to be sorted. So this is why Owen was lying on his back on the bathroom floor with a pair of old jeans on and a black t-shirt covered in grease and sweat.

“This better be worth it,” he grumbled from his position as Amelia patiently sat on the toilet seat and waited for him to ask for the handover of the next tool.

“Oh, come on, this is fun,” she tried, “It’s like I’m your scrub nurse and you’re in surgery!”

“Plumbing surgery is nowhere near as fun as real surgery, I can assure you. But… if I just tighten this…”

A series of grunts came from his mouth and Amelia found herself suddenly a little turned on. She knew there was nothing more off-putting than a fat, unattractive handyman with half his ass hanging out of his ill-fitting jeans, but Owen was none of those things. He was built, and muscular, and his sweaty t-shirt was clinging to his abs, and his jeans hung perfectly from his sculpted hips.

“I think it’s done…” he told her, shuffling out from under the pipework to test the taps. “Now, are you really sure you want a roll-top bathtub in the middle of the room? A tub with one end higher to rest your back against, and extra wide so you can fit between my legs? Is this really what you want? Cos we can change it if you like… but you need to let me know if this is actually what you want… You’ve been really unclear so far…”

“Shut up,” she giggled in response. He was being sarcastic because ever since he’d shown her around the house, the only thing she’d insisted on or taken an interest in was the bathtub in the ensuite. And here it was, completed. She grinned up at him before he stepped forward and turned on the taps. Water came pounding out and Owen told her to let it carry on whilst he went back under and checked for leaks.

With Owen’s concentration directed on the pipes, Amelia subtly put the plug in the hole and from an unpacked box on her right she pulled out the bubblebath and squeezed some in.

“Did you just spray some perfume?” Owen asked, curious as to why a floral smell had just erupted in the small room.

“Sort of?” she replied, unconvincingly.

“Are you running the bath Amelia?!”

By the time he’d put various tools down and slinked his way back out into open air, she was naked. With nothing on, a bottom lip being bitten down hard, a mischievous face being framed perfectly by messy hair, she looked irresistable. She smirked before stepping into the bath and sinking down into the growing bubbles. “Ahhhhh!”

“No fair,” Owen pouted.

“Well get in then,” she giggled.

Just perfect.

8 Months

“Dr. Hunt, she’s here.” The nurse told him, walking through the OR doors and coming to stand right behind him, awaiting for instructions while watching him perform his surgery.

His hands stopped for just a second, his head moved slightly to the right to hear the woman properly. “What do you mean ‘she’s here’?”

“I just saw her. She was filling some charts. She wasn’t wearing scrubs though, so I don’t think she’s technically working.” At that statement, Owen rolled his eyes. It didn’t matter that Amelia wasn’t operating. The sole purpose of bed resting was that she stayed in bed. She shouldn’t be here.

“Go Hunt, I got this.” April said, her mask hiding her smirk. She had been hearing Owen and Amelia fighting over her work schedule too much for the past weeks –months, actually. It somehow had become fun to watch.

He didn’t need to be told twice, so thanking her, he rushed outside the OR.

Love it! I wish this will happen!!

Day 1 - Operation (Owen)

“He’s still coming off the anaesthesia, and he might be in a little bit of pain,” Meredith announced as she lead Amelia to the patient room, “But the surgery went well and there were no complications.” Meredith opened the door slowly and quietly, revealing a very drowsy and disoriented Owen eating ice chips from a cup and failing miserably at doing so. “I’ll be back with his medication.”

“Hi.” Amelia smiled as she neared the patient bed. “How are you feeling?”

“Pain,” Owen groaned, trying to pick up an ice chip. It slipped right out of his hand and onto his gown, just like the other six pieces. Amelia took the cup from him and helped him to get the ice chips in his mouth. “I need some drugs,” he said, loosely chewing on the ice, water dripping from his mouth and down his chin.

“They’re bringing some just now.” Amelia chuckled.

Owen whipped his head to the right, complaining, “What’s taking them so long?” Turning his head back to Amelia, he squinted at her and asked, “Did the doctor send you?” He looked at her from head to toe. “You’re pretty.”

Amelia laughed. “Thank you.”

“And your eyes are really blue,” he droned on, raising his head to get a closer look. “I wanna stare at them, like, forever.”

“Eat the ice, Owen,” she ordered him, finding his drugged induced compliments charming.

“You’re probably the prettiest woman I’ve ever seen.” He yawned and scratched his head before sticking his hand out for another ice chip. “You should act. Or model.”

“I think I’m too short for that,” she told him.

“You can be a glasses model,” he dragged, closing his eyes momentarily, “And your eyes are so blue, so you’ll make lots of money.”

She placed the cup of ice on the table and dragged a stool over for her to sit on. Combing a hand through his hair, she asked, “How are you feeling now?”

“Like they took my appendix out,” he moaned, scrunching his face in pain, “They took it all out, right?”

“They did,” she said, moving her hand from his hair to his hand.

“Your hands are soft,” Owen announced the second she grabbed it, “Who are you?”

She decided to humour him momentarily. “Amelia. I’m your fiancé, remember?” Owen opened his eyes wide, pointing his index finger at himself. Confirming his non-verbal question, Amelia nodded and smiled again.

“Wow,” he said, smiling back at her, “I have a fiancé. And she has dimples too.” He closed his eyes again, opening them a couple seconds later, to ask, “How long have we been together?”

“Almost two years,” she grinned, patting the back of his hand with her free hand, “Try to get some rest.”

“But I still have questions,” Owen insisted, trying to sit up, “When are we getting married?”

A couple answers couldn’t hurt. “I don’t know.”

“Do we have any kids?”

Smiling softly, she brought his hand to her stomach and nodded. “In some months, we’ll have one.”

Gasping, he exclaimed, “I got you pregnant and we’re not married?”

“Something like that,” she confirmed.

She watched as his hand moved from her stomach to her cheek, caressing it. “How many times have we kissed?”

“A lot of times,” she replied.

Lowering his voice to a whisper, he queried, “With tongue too?”

“Lots of tongue.” She nodded and winked. His cheeks immediately turned red.

“Stand up,” he told her, trying to reach behind her back, “I wanna see your butt.”

“No!” she laughed, pushing his hand away. Just then, Meredith re-entered the room, carrying pain medication in one hand.

“He’s a bundle of joy isn’t he?” Meredith chuckled, setting the medication down on the bed.

“Just stand up for two seconds,” Owen bargained as Meredith injected the meds into his IV bag, “I’ll only look at your butt for 1 millisecond.” Meredith moved her eyes between the couple.

“He’s a pervert,” she giggled, swatting his hand away when it tried to come around to her behind again.

13 Unrealistic Expectations for Season 13

1. Alex gets a storyline good enough to enter Justin Chambers in the “outstanding lead actor in a drama series”.

(I just want Alex to stop fannying about in the background)

2. To go more than 3 episodes without a tragic flashback.

(In case you forgot, Derek died. Did you forget? I bet you forgot.)

3. Jo’s storyline to be worth the half-season build up…

(She’ll probably get scared of Alex and suffer from PTSD for a bit. They’ve not done that storyline for at least five episodes)

4. Omelia gets babies- even if it’s inappropriately adopting a dying patient’s child

(cough, Ethan, cough)

5. For a female lead to actually choose sisters before misters.

(Literally in this case… But Griggs is rising and Maggie will no doubt end up on Omelia’s sofa. Oh, and remember- Derek is still dead.)

6. Chief- errrr, I mean Webber- is going to find Arizona a lovely lady who makes her as happy as Callie once did.

(A moment to appreciate that lip bite ^^^)

7. April is going to realise her and Jackson are mint to be as he stares in wonder at their baby girl.

(We’re going to be on constant DILF alert. It’s going to be season 8 all over again!)

8. Bailey and Ben need to sit the fuck down and stop hogging screentime.

(I mean it, I swear to God… Original or not… sit down!)

9. Richard will remember that he’s more than just Catherine’s bitch and Arizona’s wingman. Perhaps find out about an illness?

(They’ve not covered Alzheimers yet… Cue Catherine Avery saying, “Oh honey…”)

10. Someone has to point out the very young, extremely attractive, mainly female, highly unrealistic department heads, surely?

(I know, I know… it’s fiction.)

11. Stephanie will realise Amelia was doing her job and was just trying to save Kyle’s life, and the superhero team will remain intact.

(But she’ll probably sue Amelia for wrong course of treatment, lose, leave and we’ll all be left heart broken.)

12. Meredith needs to start a trial and make medical history.

(She was making more of an impact on the medical world as a second year intern. The sun needs to rise damn it!)

13. Callie comes back after realising she misses Arizona. Obviously.

(Teddy representing the entire fandom here)

Bring on season 13

Smiling

This is the first story of my new series. It’s going to be called The Question Series. Each story is going to start off with a question that either Amelia, Owen, or one of their kids ask. If you have question recommendations keep the questions simple and send them in. Hope you enjoy :)

Why are you smiling?

She’s asked me this question or a form of it, too many times to count. I like to think it’s her way at gaining insight to why I love her without having to come off as sappy or insecure. Correction, I don’t think, I know. My wife has this way of wording things to warp you into admitting how you feel or what you really mean without you realizing it was her that had in fact prompted the question. And without hesitation, each time I fall deeper into the subtle trap she sets. I never notice it at first, but usually half way through my answer I realize what she’s done and how she’s done it.

We were laying in bed after a long night of passion, post putting our boys to bed. Her head was in its usual place resting on my bare chest, her chestnut locks tickling me slightly as she shifted. My left arm was wrapped around her, pulling her in as close as I  could. My hand had slid under the arm of my t-shirt she was now wearing, tracing circles on her shoulder, when I placed a soft kiss against her forehead. I allowed myself to linger there briefly as my lips curled into a smile against her hair line. She decided to flip over onto her stomach, propping her chin on her hands that were laying flat on my chest when she asked, “What’s got you smiling like that?”

Love love this. Amazing.

Amelia and Owen decide to get a nanny to help out with their 3 naughty children and the 2 latest additions…

Susie

Owen had to stifle a smirk as soon as he opened the door. His kids were going to eat her alive. She was a petite girl, no older than twenty, blonde and perky. So very very perky.

“Hi,” she chirped, holding her hand out for Owen to shake. “I’m Susie.”

Owen shook her hand and introduced himself, stepped aside and gestured for her to come into the house. All the coats were on their named pegs, all the shoes were in their assigned places, and unusually there was a clear pathway from the front door, through the hallway and to the living room. Yes, yes, yes- the Hunt family had tidied up.

“You have a lovely home,” Susie complimented.

“Oh thank you,” Owen nodded, amused that she thought two surgeons with five children lived and maintained this ridiculously clean and pristine lifestyle. “Here’s Amelia, you spoke on the phone.”

Amelia smiled and briefly caught eyes with her husband. They needed less than a second to share a look and understand what the other was thinking.

“So nice to meet you Susie,” she greeted. “Please sit down.”

Amelia and Owen took a seat on the sofa opposite the small armchair that Susie chose.

“We’re really impressed with your qualifications. What was your time like at Didcot? I’ve heard that’s one of the best nanny schools in the country…” Amelia opened up the conversation.

“Really good thanks. I was there for a year when I was 18. The kids were so well behaved, I barely needed to raise my voice. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever shouted at a child I’m pleased to say…”

“Wow, that’s impressive,” Owen pondered.

After a short interview and a quick tour of the house, Owen and Amelia decided to introduce Susie to the children and leave her alone with them whilst they went upstairs to discuss their thoughts. Within five minutes, the couple heard a high-pitched ‘STOP IT!’. They looked at each other and grimaced.

“If any child was going to make her scream for the first time, of course it would be one of ours,” Owen sighed. “They love a good challenge.”

“LET ME GO!” they heard from the almost pleading nanny.

They jogged down the stairs, reaching the hallway where Susie was holding a baby in each arm. Maddie was by the front door feeding a garden hosepipe through to Jasmine, who was wrapping it around the nanny’s body in a trap whilst making an Indian war call with her hand to her mouth.

“Jasmine!” Owen yelled, running the rest of the way and grabbing the hosepipe from his middle child. He unravelled Susie, her cheeks flushing and a temper becoming clear.

“HOW DARE YOUR CHILDREN DO THIS,” she screamed. “I was with them for less than ten minutes- I’ve never seen behaviour like it!”

“I’m so sorry,” Amelia apologised, “I don’t know what’s got into them.”

“Well,” Susie huffed, scowling at Maddie who was winding the hosepipe back to its home, “I certainly will not be the one to find out.”

“I’m sorry,” Owen said. “Shall I take them back?” he asked, pointing to Oliver and Evie in her arms.

Susie dumped the twins onto Owen and muttered about disrespect and shocking disobedience as she collected her coat and bag. She stormed out the house.

“Bye Susie,” Maddie called, sweetly smiling and waving her off by the front door.

Red Thread XI

Last part! Thank you to everyone who read this, the million messages you sent me and your comments and everything. You made me smile every single time I read them. Thanks! I’m a little sad that this is over, but read until the end, there’s an important question for you all there…

Prologue  - I - II - III - IV - V - VI - VII - VIII - IX - X

A great philosopher once said “what screws us up the most in life is the picture in our head of what it’s supposed to be.” And it’s true, because who doesn’t think every now and then of what would have happened have they done something differently. What if you had woken up early? Maybe you could have made it to the exam. What if you had accepted that job offer? Maybe now you could be CEO of your own company. What if you hadn’t said ‘no’ to him? Maybe now you could be married.

Every day in our lives we are challenged by different options, different paths we can take for different situations. Sometimes you can choose one, and if you change your mind halfway through, you can walk towards the other path. But there are this other times, the ones in which the decision you made just can’t be changed. No matter how hard you try, no matter what you do, what’s done is done.

So there’s only one thing you can’t help but think in that moment. In the moment where you regret your choice and there’s nothing you can do to make it better.

What if…

👏👏👏👏 this was amazing!! Please write a sequel!! ❤❤

Normal Monday Morning III

A/N: Hey guys!! So after a lot of procrastination the third part of my story is finally here! YAY! Anyway, this part is slighty longer, I think… haha But, I hope you love it anyway! Again, thank you all so so much for your likes, reblogs and messages.

Specal thanks to @magicalpostface; @fluraki; @bafy-usy@claudialovesomelia and @omelia-scorsone. I think I’m gonna start answering you all personally haha

You know I love to hear from you guys!

“A vodka tonic, please.”

“Here you go.” She watched as Joe put the glass in front of her. And she just stared at it. It was right there, taunting her. Begging her to take a sip. But she knew if she picked up the glass, it would be more than just a sip. And Amelia also knew she’d regret it deeply. She couldn’t throw her sobriety away like that. Not after she worked so hard. She certainly didn’t want to go through day 1 for the fifth time.

Maybe she was overreacting a bit. Yes, what Owen said had hurt her. After everything they’ve been through alone and together, she thought he’d see her innocence right from the start. Although the more she thought about it she understood his point of view. She might have asked it herself if the situation was reversed. But that didn’t change the fact that his words still hurt. When he said ‘Did you do it?’ all she heard was ‘I don’t trust you’. And it hurt, God it hurt.

Finally, Amelia picked up the glass, held it right under her nose and inhaled deeply. God it smelled heavenly. And it brought back so many memories, memories of her crazy teenage years and the wild parties, of Michelle, of Ryan and Meredith’s attack. Everything came back it a simple smell. Funny how the human brain works.

Suddenly, Amelia realized how deeply disappointed Owen would’ve felt if she drank. She could picture the rough handsome features of his face deepening with shame of her. She could picture the hurt his icy blue eyes would reflect.

Amelia realized she couldn’t take this drink. It would have too many repercussions in her life. Both personally and professionally. So she put down the glass, threw some bills on the counter to pay for it and quickly left the bar.

Back at home Owen was starting to get seriously worried.  Hours kept passing and still no sign of her return. It was starting to get dark outside and the thought of his Amelia wandering around alone and emotionally hurt in the dark streets of Seattle was kind of making him sick to the stomach. He couldn’t even call her because she had left her phone behind.

He kept calling everyone he could think of to see if they had seen her or knew where she was. Meredith, Maggie, Arizona, Callie, Webber… He even called Riggs. All had given him the same answer, ‘no’… He obviously couldn’t call the police, they’d probably laugh, ‘Hey my wife left home after an argument and still hasn’t return…’, pathetic.

So now he is stuck at home waiting for her to return…

Meanwhile at the hospital Bailey got a page from the head of security saying he needed to meet her ASAP.

Basically he told her that an attending from radiology came to them saying there was a nurse in that department who had been acting strange for quite some time and after putting extra surveillance near the pharmacy they quickly caught said nurse red-handed. After an interrogation the nurse confessed to stealing the pills, not for sell but for personal use.

After dealing with the legal actions that needed to be taken, Bailey started contacting the Heads of the different surgical departments one by one letting them know they had caught the person responsible the theft.

After contacting Robbins, Pierce, Grey, Torres and Avery, Bailey proceeded to call Hunt.

“Hunt.” came the strong voice of the red-headed trauma surgeon through the line.

“Hunt, I‘m just calling to let you know that security has caught the person who stole the pills. Apparently it was a junkie nurse from radiology. The guy confessed the whole thing.”

“Okay, that’s great!” he said feeling even more stupid for doubting his wife.

“Anyway, can you tell Shepherd? I’ve tried her phone but it keeps going to voicemail-“

“Uh, yeah her battery died. She is not home right now, but I’ll let her know.”

“Alright, thank you-“ Bailey was getting ready to hung up the call her she heard Hunt’s voice again.

“Does this mean Amelia can get back to work? I mean, she wasn’t very happy with the leave in the first place…”

“Yeah, your wife is my best Neuro attending, I need her back before Nelson kills anyone.”

Owen laughed, and felt pride spreading through his heart at hearing the complement made to his beautiful, brilliant wife. After saying their goodbyes, the call ended. He looked at his watch and saw it was almost midnight. And still no signs of Amelia… Sitting down on the couch, he tried calling Meredith again, maybe Amelia was crashing with her sister-in-law.

“Hey, is Amelia there?”

“Um, no… She isn’t there?” asked the blonde general surgeon, surprised her sister-in-law wasn’t home at this hour of the night. She knew her sister loved to spend cold winter nights like this one cuddling with her husband.

Owen sighed and answered “No…”

“Owen, what is going on? This is the second time you’ve called me today asking for the whereabouts of your wife. And I know you also called Maggie and Callie… Why isn’t she home?”

“I was an idiot-“

“Yeah, I got that!” Said Meredith, interrupting him.

Frowning, Owen continued “We had a fight… I said something I definitely shouldn’t have and I hurt her feelings, and she left. So now it’s midnight and I don’t know where my wife is…”

“Owen, what did you say?”

“I-“ He stopped talking and turned towards around as soon as he heard a sound coming from the front door. “Meredith, I’ve gotta go!” Owen said, hanging up the phone before he could hear the blonde’s response.

The door opened and he saw Amelia walking inside.

Her clothes practically dripping wet from the rain. Owen wanted go to her, strip her clothes and change her into something cozy and warm. But he stayed frozen, unsure of how she would react.

He watched as she made her way to the bathroom without saying a word. The bathroom door closed and a while later he could hear the shower water running. Sighing, and feeling disappointed she didn’t want to talk to him, Owen made his way to the bedroom and started getting ready for bed. He took off his clothes and reached over their bed to pick his well-worn Harvard t-shirt.

“I was gonna wear that.” At hearing her voice Owen turned around and saw her standing by the bathroom door wrapped in a fluffy white towel.

“Here.” He said, quickly handing her the t-shirt he knew she loved. He always found it funny, since they both attended Harvard, they both had a t-shirt from the place, but Amelia always preferred his, saying it was more comfortable. If he was honest with himself, he didn’t mind, she looked absolutely beautiful in it.

“Thanks.” She gave him a gentle smile and quickly put his t-shirt on.  “I’m gonna make tea, do you want some?”

“No, thank you.”

Amelia made her way to the kitchen and ate some cookies while she waited for the kettle to whistle indicating the water had boiled. Once the tea was done, Amelia grabbed the mug and made her to the bedroom where she saw Owen standing awkwardly at exactly the same place he had been when she left to make the tea, the only difference was he was now wearing a t-shirt.

Setting the mug down on her nightstand, Amelia quickly got in the bed, and propped her back against the headboard. “Are you gonna get in?”

“I wasn’t sure you wanted me here tonight…” Owen said truthfully, while looking down.

Amelia gave him a gentle but small smile, pushed the covers back on his side of the bed and gently patted the mattress, silently telling him to get in the bed. He obeyed, honestly quite eager to be near her in any possible way.

After a few minutes, Amelia finally broke the silence.

“We should talk, uh…”

And Owen knew it was gonna be a long night…

Boom. Can't wait for the next part.

All Grown Up

This is just a quick little one shot of Amelia with some of her Private Practice family. It’s set sometime after Amelia and Owen’s wedding.

Owen used all of his might to pull he and Amelia’s suitcase out of the trunk of the cab. Amelia watched through the lens of her sunglasses as Owen used every muscle to lift the piece of luggage that was probably twice her size. “Jesus what did you pack in there, bricks?” His face was red, his veins budging out of his muscles, something that Amelia was secretly enjoying the view of from her spot on the sidewalk.

Tipping her glasses down, revealing her deep blue eyes, her voice did her best Owen impression she could give, “Just the essentials.”

Wheeling the suitcase over to the sidewalk they were now making their way up the pathway to the front door of the house. He leaned forward as he followed Amelia, whispering in a low husky voice, “Is you red lingerie set one of those essentials?”

“Maybe…” Amelia teased as she stopped in her tracks, allowing her back to lean against Owens chest. Biting her bottom lip, knowing it drove him mad, she slowly turned herself around tilting her head in a flirty way. Owens hands found their way around her waist, pulling her petite frame into him as his lips met hers.

He kissed her slowly, each kissed filled with mystery. “Let’s skip the birthday party.” Another kiss. “And go straight for the after party.” Another kiss. “Just you.” Another kiss. “And me.” He kissed her again, this times her hands linking around his neck as she continued to laugh between each kiss.

“Either get a room or give me hug.” The southern accent rang through the outdoors, the pair pulling a part only for both of their eyes to meet the skinny blonde standing in the doorway of the house.

Love it!! I would love a second part!
