In darker skin tones you're looking for grey or white lips and fingernails. Other places where this may be not evidence is the tongue and gums.

Figured since everyone gets taught what low oxygen looks like on lighter skin. Everyone should know what it looks like on dark skin too.

People often ask me why I won’t report incidents to the police, these are often privileged white people. They conveniently forget what happened to George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. They conveniently forget that people with my skin color are killed for being innocent. They’re killed BECAUSE they’re black.

So many of us live in fear of the police and if you think we just want to call them for anything under the sun, you’re wrong.

Let me make it clear for the people in the back: it’s a privilege to be able to call the police and make it out without heavy interrogation, suspicion or death. It’s a privilege to be able to be believed when something terrible happens to you. So if your only answer to my problem is to call the police, or your only question is why didn’t I, sit down and shut up.

There is a difference between being a woman who inspires others to treat her a certain way, and a woman who has to manipulate others to receive special treatment. Manipulation might get you want you want- but its short lived. It's forced, not authentic, and whatever you get from the other person isn't genuine. You are lying to yourself about the situation, and your perception of yourself.

Create your own value and learn how to communicate your wishes. Be the woman that others/men want to do things for and allow healthy flows into your life. You don't have to manipulate anything that isn't for you. Stop creating toxic situations so you can also stop attracting them. You deserve to be treated the way you want, but first you need to treat yourself that way. It always comes back to us.
