What other research life hacks do you have stored in your brain?

I think this one is more well known, but when doing research on a topic, find a page like wikipedia or a research paper that has a broad range of information. Scroll down to the bottom and look through their sources. Those are most likely good, informative, and reliable and there are probably links that will take you directly to the website.

There are three rules.

1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.

2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.

3. If you do not step forward, you will remain in the same place.

heya! i am finally returning to tumblr after a busy af first semester of college to share some of my favorite study playlists. music is something i love & music is essential to my study routine. i’ve created some for you all to enjoy! here goes…

simmer down & study up - just beats & lush vibes. this one is perfect to study to and it’s one of my favorites. updated monthly on the 20th.
in the zone - this one is a compilation of tunes that i don’t know the words to, i usually listen to this one when i’m faced with crunch time!
homework at ten - this ultimate late night study playlist is a classic, guaranteed to keep you up past ten p.m.
buried library - one of the newest additions to my study collection. this one plays chill vibes & features the barr brothers, geotic, and more!
the bowery book club - another classic, old book shop feels. perfect for a rainy, cloudy day filled with productivity.
lightspeed study - this one has me runnin’ like a well oiled machine. listen to this one to speed through homework and assignments you really don’t want to do.
drafty coffee shops - a collection of songs i hear at my local coffee shop. features the lumineers, bon iver, and fleet foxes.
seaside study beats - great to warm you up and keep you going. motivational and moving.
my headache of one million day dreams - procrastination hitting you hard? tune into this one to remind you of why you keep going. put in the hard work and you will go far!

most of these playlists likely have songs on them you have never heard, that makes them perfect to study to. enjoy!

11.07.16 // these notes are for my english 12 class and i used pink and brown for my color scheme this time! we just finished reading beowulf and we’re doing a review sheet on it which i hate because we’re going to present it in front of the class ʘ‿ʘ but yeah, the space on these notes looks really awkward and it bothers me lol
