Liana blushed, glancing down at the book she had on her lap, deciding she wouldn’t add the pencil-drumming until the chorus. She harmonized on the ‘I can write a song’ part, smiling softly, almost proudly. Then, she added the pencils in, glancing over at Calum for a second.
"I belong with you, you belong with me..." Calum continued singing, looking over to Liana. He smiled at her, and before he knew it, they had finished the song. "That was wicked." he said, grinning at her.

Liana listened intently to both the guitar and Calum’s voice. She smiled widely, getting a little more lost in the music than she thought she would. Without warning to the guy beside her, or Liana herself, she found herself harmonizing on the ‘sleeping in my bed’ part. Shocked, she shut her mouth, and began and the ‘ho hey’ idea instead.
Calum smiled at Liana, enjoying her harmonies. "Keep doing that." he whispered to her, continuing on to the next verse. "So show me family, all the blood that I would bleed. I don't know where I went wrong, I don't know where I belong. But I can write a song."

Liana nodded, smiling rather sheepishly. “Okay, okay.” She chirped, aimlessly tapping her pencils, trying tune the beat in her head to her hands. Eventually, she got it, and began tapping the steady beat out on to the book.
Calum began playing along to the rhythm of her tapping, and after about fifteen seconds, he began to sing. "I've been trying to do it right, I've been living a lonely life. I've been sleeping here instead, I've been sleeping in my bed. Sleeping in my bed."

Liana leaned forward, tapping the pencils lightly. "We can, if you want to. But I'm not signed, so you can't sell it on." She joked, nudging Calum - well, going to nudge him, but stopping herself before she did. She was quite aware of her actions, which was made her stop. "So um, yeah. Record it if you want to." Liana nodded.
"Don't worry. No selling." He flashed a grin at her, setting down his guitar and grabbing his GoPro, turning it on. "Ready?" he asked.

Liana chuckled half heartedly. “I doubt I’d hit the notes in All Of The Stars. At least with Ho Hey I can offer up a Ho.” She said quietly, her fingers intertwining and undo themselves several times in a few seconds. “And a hey!” She added quickly, followed by a nervous splutter of laughter. Tapping the pencils on the book lightly, she sat up a little bit, excited to hear what Calum sounded like more up close and personal.
"Okay, so that's your job." Calum said, laughing. "Do you wanna film it?" he asked, looking back to her as he gently strum the chords to Ho Hey, locking him into his muscle memory.

Liana smiled back, stepping inside the door hesitantly. She’d never really admit it, but she was pretty shy around people. However, she found a set on the bed, after picking up a book from the chest of drawers. She settled on the bed, trying to drum up a few songs in her head. “I’m pretty in to the Lumineers right now. Or some Ed Sheeran?”
Calum strummed a few more chords. "We could do Ho Hey, or All Of The Stars." he offered, looking at Liana. He'd never really looked at someone and noticed their mannerisms before their looks, but he did with her. He noticed that she wouldn't look him in the eye while talking to him, and kept her hands in her lap. She was shy, and he was going to break her out of her shell whether she liked it or not.

Liana spun on her heels, looking around her room. She caught sight of her favourite plaid shirt, and pulled it over her head. Stuffing her phone in to her pocket, all she had to find was two pencils. She kicked the top of her suitcase off, before spotting a notepad and a few pencils she’d packed - just in case she felt like writing. With the pencils in hand, she headed out of the door. Liana eventually found Calum’s room, and with certainty it was the right one, she knocked on the door, and waited patiently.
Calum opened the door for Liana. "Hey, come on in," he said, smiling at her and retreating back into the room. "Harry's not in so you don't have to worry about anyone judging your pencil skills. Take a seat wherever you'd like." He sat down on his bed, grabbing his guitar and strumming a chord. "So, what should we sing?"
I’m not terrible, but I’m not great either.
I could, um, I could help you? If you'd like, that is.
Write me a TBH (To be Honest), stating an honest fact or thought you feel about me. Or just something honest you wanna say to me. Start the sentence off with "Tbh".
Awesome! Well, I’m really digging Relentless right now. Up for it?
Definitely up for it. Make your way over to Casa de Calum.
I’ll get my pencils.
I'll get my guitar.
He’s bad at spreading shit.
I'll do it for you, if you'd like.
But I can’t reach most places.
Ask Alfie to help you or something.
