Orpheus is the male protagonist of FateTale, who accompanies Freya through the mischief she seemed to be sucked in. He failed to escape the rising barriers between Stygia and Lux, causing his separation to his brother, and eventually becoming one of the only two barrier guardians of Snowdin.
He's the typical Sans we all grew to know, the comical, lazy bonehead of undertale, but with increased integral edginess, and dark humor.
People could sense his presence due to his echo flower scent, which was caused by the flower necklace he wore, symbolizing his trace of light. This must be why monsters refer to him as the 'Last Blue Ray' of Stygia.
DYK? His name, Orpheus, was of Greek origin that means, 'The Darkness Of The Night'. Orpheus in Greek mythology was a poet and musician, who went to the underworld to retrieve his wife Eurydice. With this in mind, you may guess what would actually happen with Sans and Frisk in FateTale. 🤔
