I blog about pretty much everything and anything I'm obsessed with at the moment. You will soon realise I'm obsessed with quite a lot of things. They usually take over my life.

top10 the society characters as voted by the fandom→ #8. Allie Pressman

“ All of us. We’ll have to learn how, just like we learned how to do everything else out here. I know it’s a lot, and we still have to cook and clean and do everything else that makes this place work. It’s going to get tougher but what choice do we have? Right? No choice! So we’ll do it, we’re just gonna take it step by step, okay? Just…solve each problem as it comes. And I think we can do that if we stay positive.”

“So, as you all know, we’ve been working hard to figure out four essential things: where we are, how we got here, why we’re here and how to get back. As in terms of the first question, there have been two hypotheses on the table: this is earth and everything else is gone, or… earth exists and we’re someplace else.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying things like:“why it takes 6 months for these stupid teenagers to understand that maybe they need to farm their food?”.

Actually we can clearly see Sam and Grizz picking carrots, and it seems like Grizz is farming a lot of vegetables. They’re really organised but they create a system that works only in the short period because their principal goal is to go home.

When Allie proposed to find some land to farm she was basically saying “ok guys we have to think about a long term solution because maybe we’ll stay here forever and we can’t eat cans and carrots for the rest of our lives”.

This is why everyone is so upset, not (only) because they’re spoiled brats but because not all of them has accepted that maybe New Ham is not a temporary problem but a permanent condition, a new difficult life no one prepared them to live.

The Society - The meaning behind the coin tossing scene

Idk if this has any meaning, but I found something interesting:

In the first episode, Cassandra flips the coin in the church to see who decides the rules. Her guess was tails, and Harry’s was heads, and she consistently flips tails 7 times in a row. The last time she flips, she gets heads. Now here’s the weird part: after that, there is episode 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. those are the next seven episodes in which, Cassandra for one or two episodes, and Allie, her sister (who shares the same general values as her), for five episodes. In total, that’s seven episodes where they are in charge, representing the seven times Cassandra flipped tails on the coin. Episode 9, the eighth episode since the coin toss, is the one where Campbell begins recruiting for his coup, and it is that episode where the shift in who has power takes place. Kind of like the eighth coin toss where the coin landed on heads, which was Harry’s guess, and Harry ultimately sides with Campbell in the end......

coincidence? I think not

bedriddenbedlam: If you notice in the debate scene Helena said that Harry goes first because he won the coin toss. He picked tails

thefangirlingbarista: during the election debate, he also chooses tails, which is what the coin lands on, so he was able to give his speech first.

the guard were goofballs

now i’m gonna be honest, i have absolutely no idea what they’re doing but what i do know is that it was cute as fuck!!!!!! they were brothers who stuck together until jason and clark got power hungry and luke was just weak and very disappointing :/ i want them to redeem themselves in s2 but i’m honestly not sure how they will :(( bit of a let down but at least we have grizz left, our soft loyal boy <33
