If your partner feels threatened when you want alone time: RUN.

welp

thats creepy

This applies to you boys too- if your girlfriend won’t let you hang out with your friends, RUN

No matter what gender you or your partner are, if they refuse to let you spend any time with your friends that’s a big sign of danger.

GUESS WHAT MY EX BELIEVED 🙃🙃🙃

Last time I reblogged this I lost ten followers, someone I liked blocked me, and I got hate mail in my inbox for several days.  Let’s see what happens this time.

Abuse begins with insecurity

My ex wouldn’t even accept a ride from my friend who offered to drive us home in the pouring Orlando rain and instead forced us to walk 12 minutes in the rain, soaking my only pair of work shoes and giving me a cold. FUCKING RED FLAGS

Let’s see how many followers I will lose over this! 🙃

This is a serious red flag for abuse. If any person you date, of whatever gender or no gender, tries to separate you from your friends and family, and deny you any life outside of them, run as fast as you can. There is no way to have a healthy relationship with those sorts of rules. Period.

My first post on Tumblr! Here’s hoping that Ishigami Village’s number one detective indicates the start of something great.

If you didn’t make it, don’t post it

If you didn’t get permission, don’t post it

If you don’t know who made it, don’t post it

Google is not a source. “I found it on Google” is not a valid response. Did you make it? No? Then don’t post it.

If the artist asks you to take it down. No excuses. No argument. Take it down.

You are not a victim. You stole something without permission. If you don’t want people to be angry, then apologize and delete it the second they ask you too. They won’t be mad anymore or see you are a bad person if you just follow their wishes.

Don’t try and turn it around like the artist is the bad guy and like that gives you the right to post their stuff.

Don’t lie about it, don’t try and change the story and look for pity from others. Just delete what the artist asked you to delete.

Be a decent human being and stop taking things that don’t belong to you. Reblog the post, spread the actual artist’s post around.

If it doesn’t belong to you then don’t post it.

@MARVEL COMICS STORM IS DARKSKINNED CAST HER ACCORDINGLY

Canonically, Ororo Munroe is the daughter of a Kenyan princess and an American photographer. She is born in America, grows up in Cairo and through a series of events meets T’Challa, Professor Xavier and other key players in the Marvel Universe at a very young age.

Possible Actresses To Play Storm From Around The World

Regina Van-Helvert

Regina is a model, former beauty pageant finalist (Miss Malaika, 2012), brand ambassador, radio host, television host, movie producer, and actress. She has both the camera experience and credentials to seamlessly carry the role. Regina also bears a striking resemblance to Steven E. Gordon’s character design for Storm in the X-Men Evolution Animated Series.

Yvonne Okoro

Yvonne is a star actress in Ghanian Cinema with 21 acting credits on IMDB as well as several African Movie Academy Award nominations. She possesses a fierce intellect as well as an often missed characteristic of Ororo Munroe, a palpable sense of compassion.  She looks very similar to Marvel cover artist Simone Bianchi’s paintings of Storm.

Stacey Amoateng

Stacey is CEO of Platinum Networks, Executive Director of a multimedia production firm,  as well as a popular television host, philanthropist, and actress. Her foundation, The Restoration With Stacy Foundation gives support to women and girls who face abuse. She closely resembles artist Leonardo Romero’s Storm seen in the Shuri series. written by Nnedi Okorafor.

Pandelani Mulaudzi

At just 24, Pandelani is a rising star in South Africa. She is a club Dj,  radio host, and actress. Holding one’s own in an established ensemble cast is very difficult, and yet she manages to do just that on South Africa’s long-running soap opera Muvhango. Her role as Dee displays both a solid sense of comedic timing and a quick wit. Pandelani looks a lot like artist J. Scott Cambell’s Storm

 Sindi Dlathu

Ororo Monroe’s command of weather has historically been depicted with a changing of her eyes and a gathering of clouds. Gravitas is needed to carry this role and that’s exactly what Sindi Dlathu brings to her portrayal of the enigmatic diamond mine owner Lindiwe on 1Magic’s hit show The River. The version of Storm she most closely resembles is that of the character’s original artist, David Cockrum.

Genevieve Nnaji

Condensing the credentials of talented black actresses to a few sentences is always difficult, this is especially so with Genevieve Nnaji.  She is synonymous with Nollywood,  having amassed 130 acting credits on IMDb. Genevieve is in many ways responsible for the growing international interest the world is showing toward Nigerian Cinema. She can play any role and has also worked within the industry as producer, director, and screenwriter. A good movie to check out to see her tackle powers and the supernatural would be Mirror Boy. Genevieve also resembles fan artist Ayhotte work on deviantart.

Michaela Coel

Michaela is without question already a fan favorite as far as speculative casting is concerned. In Black Earth Rising she showed her ability to become a character down to minute detail.  Contributing fresh perspective and truth are her gifts and she would undoubtedly take the character Storm to new heights. She closely resembles Fred Ian’s paintings.

Karidja Touré

Karidja is best known for her breakout role starring as Marieme in the french drama Girlhood. That role had a component of survival in a modern street context. Ororo’s childhood in Cairo is similar in many ways so from a talent standpoint Karidja would bring both innocence and intelligence to the Marvel Universe. In addition to this, she looks very much like Jen Bartel’s artwork.

Thishiwe Ziqubu

Thishiwe is a South African film director, writer, and actress. Her starring role in the SA action film Hard To Get was captivating, and she seamlessly carried moments of suspense, action, and sensuality in ways that leave the viewer guessing. One can only imagine what an actress as talented as this would do with Ororo Munroe. She looks a lot like Jim Lee’s version from the 90s, which heavily influenced the design of the 1992 X-Men Animated Series.

Bukamina Cebekhulu

Bukamina’s plays a no-nonsense role as businesswoman Gugu on SA soap opera, Muvhango. Her character, reminiscent of Maxine Shaw from Living Single is task-oriented and rarely has time to indulge in a personal life. This is parallel to the position of leadership that Ororo Munroe has in X-men and potentially, Wakanda. She looks like Paul Smith’s Redesign of the character that introduced the Iconic Mohawk.

Beverly Osu

Beverly is a runway model, actress and a finalist on the show Big Brother. She is Instantly recognizable among the youth in Nigeria due to her many guest appearances in artist music videos. There is no denying her talent and her public persona of being a sometimes provocateur could channel to the role of young Ororo quite nicely. She looks like the character when drawn by marvel artist Victor Ibanez

Jemima Osunde

Jemima is a model, presenter, and actress. She plays the character Leila in MTV’s hit Shuga series. She also recently graduated from medical school and would most certainly bring a sense of analytical reasoning and intelligence to the portrayal of Storm. Jemima bears a resemblance to Stephanie Hans artistic interpretation of Ororo.

@marvelentertainment  Storm should be dark-skinned and cast from a global scale audition process.

Possible Actresses To Play The Role Of Storm Continued:

Mouna Traoré

Mouna is an actress, writer, and producer. She’s been working on her craft since childhood and is a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts. She has a Bachelors of Arts and Science from the University of Toronto. Mouna is most well known for her work on Rookie Blue and Murdoch Mysteries.

Veronika Bozeman

Veronika Bozeman has worked in the entertainment industry for years. She is a singer, songwriter, vocal producer, and actress.  Her mainstream success came with her role on Empire. Her song ‘What Is Love’ was the title track of the series pilot and is featured on the show’s soundtrack.

Yetide Badaki

Yetide is an actress and writer. She has a Master Of Fine Arts In Theater from Illinois State University. Storm is considered a goddess early on by her people, and Yetide Badaki plays one in her role as Bilquis on American Gods. A natural fit!

Rutina Wesley

Rutina is widely known for her roles in True Blood and Queen Sugar. As a child, she attended the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts. She is a graduate of The Julliard School.

DeWanda Wise

DeWanda’s breakout role was as Nola Darling in Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It series adaption. She is a graduate of the Tisch School Of The Arts.

Yvonne Orji

Yvonne is best known for her role as Molly on Issa Rae’s Insecure series. She attended George Washington University and has a master’s degree in Public Health.

Tika Sumpter

Tika is a singer, model, and actress. She has worked in commercials, daytime soap operas, and feature films. She played as Michelle Obama in the movie Southside With You.

Anna Diop

Anna is a fan favorite for the role of Storm. It’s not hard to envision her in the classic role. She is currently portraying Starfire on the Teen Titans series, but that doesn’t necessarily mean being cast in a Marvel movie is impossible. Ryan Reynolds and Djimon Hounsou have portrayed super characters in both comic universes.  A list of great potential Ororo Munroe castings would be incomplete without her.

This is the North American Actresses edition of the Storm / Marvel Universe Fancast. I haven’t been watching American shows like that recently but If I think of any others I will add.

@marvelentertainment  Storm should be dark-skinned and cast from a global scale audition process.
