He also pointedly said that Kylo and Rey were going to have a “very interesting relationship going forward” in the director’s commentary of The Force Awakens (and after seeing TLJ, it’s clear he wasn’t lying~).

So just ignore those poor souls lmao. Let them keep living in denial. A lot of fans somehow think that Rian created TLJ in a bubble or something and that reylo was just some one-off thing that’s going to get ~*magically erased*~ in ep ix lmaoo…..as if the Kylo/Rey dynamic wasn’t intended from the start by the lucasfilm story group?? As if lucasfilm/disney would gear up the epic romance of this trilogy over the course of two movies and then just stop it dead in its tracks by the finale.

Long story short; don’t worry, JJ’s going to finish what he started ;)
