Will have art to post this weekend! Been chipping away at the Patreon and wanted to make a little update to my watermark to include it! The Patreon will also hopefully be launched this weekend as well, I mostly have some banner artworks and catch-up posts to prepare! For now it will have two paid tiers, a $3 tier for exclusive artwork and other posts going into detail on my creative process and a $7 tier that includes extra downloadable goodies (wallpapers, emoji/stickers, etc!). Both tiers will have early access to commissions, adoptables, and similar offerings as well!

Ok so an update now that my boiling anger at tumblr has cooled to a simmer (¬ლ;;)

I have read some more takes on the situation and have decided deleting this blog wouldn't be a very productive protest. I am aware that my work has already had the potential to be scraped, but tumblr was the first time I had heard of an AI company paying a website to scrape it. The fact that tumblr could essentially sell my work without my consent before even giving anyone an option to opt-out infuriated me, and since I already do not give tumblr money for badges and use an adblock, my blog was the only thing I could think of that I could "take" from tumblr as punishment. orz

However unfortunately because of the way tumblr hoards its data forever even deleting this blog wouldn't amount to much.. and while this isn't the Only place I post my work, I find it uniquely important as a platform to display it because of the custom webpage. I could in theory just make my own website and blog, but the combination with a social platform where folks can just encounter and interact with it has been really important for my confidence and growth. I really don't think there's a platform quite like tumblr and that's what makes this whole thing just so frustrating...

So anyway, I've decided I won't delete it entirely (partially since if tumblr gets sued for this I'd love to put my name on it). I may employ more aggressive watermarks since my computer can't use that fancy shmancy Glaze or Nightshade, just to be safe. I will still look into rebuilding a Patreon for those interested, and I'll try to maintain all the other sites as best I can. I'm really sorry for any worries I may have caused you all. It's hard to keep composure when stuff like this (and much worse) just keeps happening with no repercussions... Thank you all again for sticking with me 🙏💖

Was hoping to either bring back comms or at least draw cute couples or something again in summer too. A lot of folks have told me how happy those old works made them over the years <3

I know I've been pretty quiet on here (been super busy and kinda sorta burnt out) but with Tumblr partnering with Midjourney as well as the disgusting display of transmisogyny from the CEO and staff just the week prior I am thinking very hard about deleting this blog entirely.

I am looking for ways to archive what I can, tumblr's blog backup is a joke and can't even handle this relatively medium small blog. I will provide a link whenever I can get that ready.
