If you don't already know, my blog has been flagged and I am waiting for a response from Tumblr support. I've never had this happen before and I'm not sure if you will see my posts or my tags for them, but what I'm most afraid of is losing everything I've written so far.
On desktop, it won't allow me to view my own masterlist and look at my stories. It's really frustrating as I am in the middle of uploading everything to Ao3. I have stories I would like to upload here, but I don't want to until this issue is resolved with my blog.

The months after the breakup had been hard. Heartbroken and adjusting to life in DC had been hard, but he managed. He had started to move on, get better.
Until last week. Seeing Lisbon again had him spiraling. Not because he missed her. He had accepted it by now. No, it was the feeling of not being good enough that hurt. A divorce and two broken engagements. Why wasn’t he good enough? Why couldn’t he get the family he wanted? The self-doubt was beginning to eat him up inside.
He gestures towards the bartender for another drink. He’s already drunk and probably shouldn’t drink anymore, but he wants to numb the pain.
He barely notices when a younger woman sits down beside him, ordering her own drink. For a while, you both sit there in silence. Marcus swears he can feel your eyes on him, but what's the point? Even if you are interested, you’d probably just leave like everyone else.
You look at the man beside you. He looks sad, defeated, as he downs his whiskey. You should probably leave him alone. But you’ve always been a very compassionate person and you can’t just leave him to his misery.
“You probably just wanna be left alone, but do you wanna talk? You look down, and I’m a good listener.” You try giving him a sweet smile. He slowly turns and looks into your eyes. His beautiful brown ones are red and wet.

From start to finish, this story had me hooked. Your writing had me hooked. My heart broke for Marcus. The way you described him at the bar, sniffling with teary red eyes was so saddening.
And, not only did I really enjoy how you’ve wrote Marcus here, but I really enjoyed how you wrote the readers character too. She sounds so compassionate and caring, and it was refreshing to read their conversation too. You did a fab job with the dialog, and I adored that she gave him some tough love.
Moving onto the smut though 🥹. Oh my! It was so beautiful. Hungry and passionate, yet equally beautiful and soft as well. The next day when she awoke to the notes left behind from Marcus was a lovely touch. And they made me smile and laugh too 🥰.

Oh, I enjoyed this so much. I loved that tension at the beginning from reader. It’s understandable why they snapped, and it’s understandable how Frankie felt because of it too. Just one of those things that happens, but it’s important how they both dealt with it afterward and they handled it wonderfully.

When he finally gets up and the beautiful woman follows him to the bathroom, he smirks over his shoulder at the guys.
“40 fucking seconds! Must be a new record.” Benny sounds impressed, smiling towards the bathroom.

The others were excited for their friend, but Frankie can’t help but feel a pang of jealousy. Never been much of a ladies man, always been a little insecure. Especially after Lori packed her shit and left him alone with a two-year-old.
