Women are constantly harassed on social media, most being pornographic harassment. Platforms like Twitter/X make it really hard to report someone, not giving the option just to write in or send what happened but rather giving you choices, and that is all you can do. The harassers online are quite creative in the ways that they harass women.OK, am I going to tweet? I think about, you know, do I have the emotional capacity right now to deal with what might come if that's going to be out there in the real world? I have talked to many of my friends, and we chose to create group chats on Twitter/X where we can rant and get our feelings out rather than make it public, but with the amount of hate and notifications I got last time, I rather just keep my sanity and safety. But to the argument that it is just words, what do you say?

RICKY BOWEN & GINA PORTER High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019–2023) "When Sofia Wylie leaned over and kissed Josh’s cheek in the back of that orange Bug, that changed the entire series. So the short answer is, I don’t know when I wrote the pilot if I thought Gina and Ricky would kiss in the season finale of season 3, but from Homecoming on, this was the plan." – Tim Federle
You're the "wow" guy, right? Who almost ruined the take. Wow. Yeah, like that!
Ricky going from “I think I kinda, you know” and “I don’t not love you” to Nini. Then, his confession being around their past memories. Their duet called “Just For A Moment” because their love was not meant to last forever.
To Ricky singing “I'm in love i'm in love i'm in love and I know it. Not net, not fear, right now in this moment (...) I said it first not matter what the cost. Here I am. Full heart. Full stop. I love you.” (...) "Cause I love you feels a lot like high school and forever after that” to Gina. Because Gina has always represented his future. And he knows what he feels for Gina isn’t some “puppy love” (which is a also an actual childhood song on the show, you get it?). He knows that what he feels for Gina is real, strong and long lasting.

Can we acknowledge that Ricky’s confession to Gina was not to make her stay and give up on the movie? It wasn’t something for him to get something out of it. He said it so he won’t have to regret not telling her before she leaves East High. To let her know she is loved by him. He was ready to watch her go and deal with the idea of their relationship possibly ending. And he didn’t even know Gina moved the movie to SLC when he showed up and confessed. And Gina didn’t make the choice to stay because Ricky told her he loved her but because she built a life there (with Ricky and her friends) that she wants to keep for as long as she can. And what it didn’t accour to him is that Gina wants him in her dreams too. Nini was willing to go as far away as her dream would take her (and that’s not a bad thing). But Gina is just not willing to let Ricky go because he is her person.
And let’s appreciate too that he didn’t just say “I love you”, he also said “I’m in love”. As he is IN love with Gina now (and will be forever).
