Summary: y/n is feeling a little insecure, ron helps y/n see her beauty through a few loving touches.

the common room was always empty at this time of night, which is why you and Ron loved hanging out down there. it was quiet, and nobody would bother you guys.

you sat curled up next to Ron in front of the fire, his hand tracing shapes on your arm as you watched the fire dance. you felt Ron’s eyes on you, so you turned to look up at him.

“hi?” you smiled up at him, narrowing your eyes.

“hey.” he continued studying you, unbothered.

“is there something on my face?” you sat up slightly, and he took that as an opportunity to pull you closer. 

“nope, just admiring you.” he smiled.

you playfully rolled your eyes “yeah right, must be pretty boring since there is nothing to admire.”

“what do you mean love? you’re the most beautiful person i’ve ever laid my eyes on. i could look at you all day.”

you turned your attention back towards the fire, “glad one of us thinks so…” your voice softened.

“love, you’re gorgeous” he sat up loosening his hold on you.

you giggled quietly, “i’m really not.” you looked back at ron, his face fell a little. you turned your attention back to the fire. “i’m not the thinnest, i’m not the prettiest, i have these stretch marks that just ruin everything-”

“but?-” ron tried to interject, but you looked back at him and continued. “my thighs are just so big for no reason, my laugh is horrendous, i have this double chin that just irritates me, my side profile is a wreck and-”

before you could continue ron had leaned forward and grabbed your face gently “hey, breathe with me for a second”

you had calmed down a little, leaning into his touch.

“darling, i wish you could see yourself through my eyes. you are so beautiful, it’s almost painful. i don’t deserve you. you are the most beautiful person, inside and out.” his thumb stroked your cheek gently.

his hands slowly made their way to your waist, resting on your curves. “your body is insane, almost as if you stepped out of a work of art, let me appreciate you like art?” he looked at you, as if asking for permission. you nodded slowly in response.

he laid you down on the carpet gently. his hands finding their way under your shirt, lifting it slightly to show your stretch marks. his thumbs slowly rubbing the skin, feeling your stretch marks. he smiled at you, “these, these are beautiful.” he leaned down to kiss your stomach gently. “perfect skin is boring, these are so beautiful. the lines are so intricate, not everyone can say they have marks as pretty as these.”

he slowly lowered your shirt. you stared up at him in awe, amazed at how his words warmed your heart. tears pricking at your eyes.

his hands made your way to your thighs, squeezing gently. “your thighs are perfect, just like your stomach.” he leaned over you, “there’s just more of you to love, which is amazing for me since i have so much love to give you.”

you felt his hands start moving higher again, but you sat up. your face incredibly close to his. the tears threatning to fall more obvious in the light the fire provided.

“aww, love.” he cupped your cheek again, and smiled as you leaned into his touch.

“thank you.” you smiled softly, turning your head slightly to kiss his palm.

he wrapped his other arm around your waist, pulling you against him. “you’re a work of art love.” he leaned down to kiss you gently.

you giggled softly as he pulled you down with him back onto the red carpet. his lips slowly trailing down your neck.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

To add onto this I recommend using the site 7-cups, it’s a “therapy” like platrform that allows you to talk to other people and rant about your feelings if you feel as though you or people you know are getting to this state. There are actual therapists on the site(if you can pay!!) but if you don’t have the budget you can still talk to the non professionals and participate in the group chats!

okay… but like… how about you just don’t copy and paste other people’s fanfics and pass them off as your own????? that’s a thought.

not to mention when you can clearly copy and paste the writing in a search engine and pinpoint the original post where it was originally posted.

lil announcement!!

so i got a message from a lovely blog informing me that someone (@/archita) reposted my work (it was my fic “secret’s out”). they claimed they “have proof” they wrote it, and that it was their own creation. since then, i’ve reported and blocked this account, and they’ve deleted the fic. however, if you look at their most recent post, you can see that they are planning on reposting again!

so if you find any fics of mine that have been posted on this account (or for that matter, fics from other writers) reposted, especially on the blog i’ve mentioned, please please let us know!!

and if you’re someone who thinks it’s okay to repost work, whether on here or on wattpad or instagram or pinterest or wherever, i hope you find a better hobby soon bc this is getting old. you’re not cool, you’re not original and you’re just embarrassing yourself.
