i’m pretty sure a lot of engenes knew about this situation already. i’ve been stanning enha for a long time and i’ve always noticed these remarks towards sunoo, i mean who wouldn’t? they appeared so often on camera, what about when there are no cameras around?

but i used to shrug it off and not wanting to jump into conclusion fast. i also shrugged off niki’s actions because he was young so i was hoping he’ll realise his mistake. the only way i tried to make myself comfy was to encourage and give compliments to sunoo almost every day at weverse or twitter (eventho i get no rep lmao)

now, since the issue had garnered more attention, can we focus on it more? i cannot believe that some of engenes had the audacity to say fatshaming is a part of culture in korea.

fatshaming should n e v e r be a part of any culture.

not when it leads to serious eating disorders, not when it leads to death.

international engenes are not being weaklings and way too sensitive, we are caring about our sunshine’s mental health. something that may seemed small to you can be the cause of someone’s life struggles.

don’t by all means, normalise fatshaming.

i’m not in any way saying that niki and the other members are all horrible. we all knew they love and care for sunoo, but all relationships have problems within them, and this is a part of it. we need to take this opportunity to educate them, not just shrugging this matter off aside because you thought it was just jokes.

and please, please don’t send any death threats to the enhypen members. i knew some stans can be very aggressive at times, and sending them hate and death threats is not the way to make things any better, in fact it will worsen the situation.

while sunoo’s birthday is upcoming, let’s all send him love and compliments to support him! sunoo is such a strong boy, i can’t imagine putting myself in his shoes.
