A couple of sketches of characters for upcoming d&d campaigns!
I'm in the process of making Swan a new ref and just for fun decided to take the colors of their absolutely ancient scrapped design and slap that onto these lines. Plus a true albino version of their old colors and patterns. They're not changing by any means but I've been wanting to redraw those stripes and colorful feathers for a while.
I figure this is a pretty close approximation to what they look like sort of genetically "under" their albinism/leucism. Their sibling's design was based on this old one!
Draw your oc
Mehit would. Then she'd immediately ruin it on a full moon as is the fate of most of her clothing...
One very spicy chicken
Something is off with that one
An illusion form of a swan beastfolk that Swan may have used in the past. It isn't one they would often use in the present, but is more of a 'work uniform' than anything else.
In all seriousness, I had a bout of nostalgia hit for the old madness games I used to run over discord and went to see how I wrote Swan back then. It was really the first time using Swan as more than some swamp hag creature and was literally the basis for most of the newer mockerie stuff I've been working on lately. I wrote them WAY different than I do now turns out and was surprised reading my old writing at how absolutely cold they were as well as several interesting quirks that didn't make it to the present day version of them. (being called 'doll' and 'puppet' by a player stuck out to me because those are absolutely things different characters could call them even in present... but both would just make them angry)
Its all still canon to them, just a little changed.
Commission for @sevengummisharks of its cute candy shark sona!
Doodled my little laten that I play on Path of Titans!
He's a feathery menace to literally everything with a pulse. No ankles are safe.
Using the DTDAY thread to do some brush experimentation today. First time drawing an aberration! They came out while I was on a break from FR.
Made myself a discord icon. I meant to get this done much earlier in the month when I got the little snow globe decoration they have but its still winter and I can still have a Swan in a snow globe!
Went and did an art vs artist thing for the first time! Really felt like I reforged my creative spark for the first time in a few years in 2023. I'm having fun drawing my OCs and creatures and nobody can stop me!
An as of yet unnamed harpy character. A prince given the gift of prophecy and then mauled when his flock's queen decided to punish the messenger for a horrific prediction that ended up entirely true.
Another character that I'm placing in Vivarium, though his former flock is a naturalized population of harpies from Albeth (the same world as my mockeries).
Decided to play around with harpies for my fantasy world and do something a little off the beaten path with them. They have a social hierarchy that is inspired by both poultry and bees. They're somewhat (but not entirely) eusocial.

Just realized I never uploaded the colored version of this oops
Once again, my friend @theplagueraven let me steal this pathetic noodle for a mockerie version of him.
Simon Harper is a Vivarium native, second generation, and a werewolf in hiding. Residing in the village he grew up in, now being its sole occupant, he runs a transportation and delivery service using sled dogs that he raises and trains himself to get things across the Frostlands.
A new arrival to the Vivarium has started to take away some of his business lately. Some guy going by Vagabond. Simon is not appreciative of someone butting into his business in the relatively sparse Frostlands, so he took it into his own hands... er, claws.
A couple of designs for characters I have played with writing a little later down the timeline. Magpie and Jackdaw, two avian mockeries who easily are mistaken for siblings despite not being related whatsoever.
