I am not at all sorry for the person I’ve become since watching Top Gun Maverick

I don’t know if anyone else will understand what I mean by this but;

One thing I loved so much about TGM is how the pilots ages are portrayed. As someone who has existential crises about getting older, I came out of watching TGM with a new perspective. The fact that they’re in their early 30s and they’re still considered the ‘young guns’ really cheered me up? And I’m so glad that more films are being made about how your 20/30’s are still young, and they’re still a growing period. Too many films nowadays make such a big thing about how being in high school or being a teenager is the most important time of your life, and that creates such a negative impact on people who are leaving their teens and actually heading into their adult lives.

Anyway, I hope you guys get what I mean!!
