I haven’t fed you all in like...over a year now. You can have a little UDT!Pap as a treat.
Let’s be real here. This comic is on some deep hiatus until I get my life in order. I can barely get myself to draw even one thing a month, not even something fully colored. I’m going to be trying some new medication soon hopefully. We’ll see if that helps. I don’t plan to post again until I have a backlog of finished pages. I feel like I disappointed people with this project. I want to continue it, I really do, and I will when I can get myself to do something.
I thank anyone who is still even remotely interested. I was afraid to even post this, but I told myself I wasn’t going to just let this die out in silence like I’ve done with other accounts. I love Undeadtale. I just wish I could get my brain and hands to actually follow this passion. If you’re still here, thanks. I’ll try to get back into things this year.

#hello after like half a year of self loathing and getting nothing done#I actually made a ton of progress this weekend. Nothing ready for posting BUT#like pages of work drawn and most lined#Expect something in the next week#it won't be an update to Once Upon a Time#but I have smaller intermission comics I want to do#and actually clear some of these ancient asks from the mailbox
Yeah I know
I tell myself I’m going to keep up on posts and then months go by without anything. God am I thankful the some of you still stick around with me despite that. I think a big problem is I’m both a perfectionist combined with the anxiety from failure to produce, thus anxiety that I’ve let people down..
Well the good news, I will say, I’m sitting on quite a few pages of panel sketches for the intermission comic I wanted to do. But that’s where the problem lies: I knew I needed to get work out but at the same time wanted to improve from my previous work with more dynamic shots and better panel layouts. But then it started taking too long and I just got more and more anxious about releasing anything.
In short, add this to the long list of journal posts about how anxiety sucks and I’m sorry yada yada. I think I have what I want to actually get this out soon. Thank you to those who continued to stick with me.
Plans for the near future
As you’re probably getting annoyed by constant delays between updates, I’m going to do the following. This is as much for my own sanity as for your enjoyment:
- Finish the next page this week.
- Take a short break from OUaT.
- Work on some of these asks I’ve put off for too long.
- First one I want to do is Alphys.
This will give my brain a break from repeatedly bashing it against a wall trying to figure out how I want to draw/panel the rest of OUaT. I think I need to work on something different for a bit.
