who else just wants to fuck off and living in animal crossing. my neighbor is a bird. i sold three pieces of fruit and bought a sofa with the profit. caught butterflies for two straight hours. my debt exists but the debtor literally doesn’t give a single flying fuck. i wanna go drink coffee at a cafe where it’s served to me by a Gentle pigeon. everyone is happy like 99% of the time unless you whack em with a net or something idk

ideas for a new animal crossing game!!

  • windy days where the trees blow and bells chime and villagers comment about being swept away 
  • sunflowers! water lillies! 
  • more ways to group things like the fruit baskets such as bouquets of flowers
  • keep all your tools on a tool belt that takes up one slot
  • being able to choose where villagers live or bring back something like the signposts 
  • more conversations+replies! Just more things for villagers to say in general i’m tired of the same thing every day 
  • SKINTONES. 
  • letter system that recognizes key phrases/words and has villagers reply to it (like if you say “how are you” they would respond, if you write something mean they would get upset and not just thank you lol) 
  • DAILY MAYOR DUTIES
  • duck villagers like the rain as well as frogs (i think ducks like rain?? not entirely sure tho)
  • meet villagers at the café, museum, beach, etc for a date sort of thing, like instead of meeting at your house meet at the café. 
  • bring back constellations, or at least be able to tell Celeste she’s adorable again I miss flirting with her.   
  • become friends with npc like u do with sable/ once you become good enough friends they get their pictures (ik u can get some special character pics but I want blathers and the able sisters and pete etc etc) at a certain level they can pop into your house uninvited  
  • be able to send kk slider fanmail/ send mail to other npcs
  • a way to plant grass. Please. 
  • fruit bushes, berries and things like that 
  • MORE FLESHED OUT VILLAGER PERSONALITIES. I want villagers to be mean to me again and yell at me!! villagers that are cold at first and then build up a friendship with them! I want this more than anything else on the list tbh  
  • christmas lights on houses and buildings!!
  • a main street similar to the one in HHD with more shops! 
  • basically everything from HHD: furniture outside, furniture closer together you can squeeze through, middle slots for items on tables, villagers holding items like ice cream, ceiling decorations and curtains and windows oh my, possibly furniture outside but with a limit 
  • resize things as a form of customization 
  • ability to turn furniture in more directions 
  • a big hide and seek competition like the fishing tourney where you have to find every villager or something? 
  • give isabelle time off! Maybe a new character that takes her place when she’s on break, like phyllis in the post office
  • when isabelle has time off (sundays? Lunch time?) u can see her roaming around town
  • more colors/options for pwp, like the police station has two options. different color scheme choices for the campsite, café, any pwp could have multiple color choices basically
  • brewster stores gyroids again I loved seeing him geek out over them
  • something (like thanksgiving) where you can gather certain food, fish, other things, bring to a piece of kitchen furniture and make them into a food to bring to your villagers or sell (ex: gather a bunch of apples and make a pie) maybe a grocery store to go along with this? And you could buy exotic fruit from that store as well?
  • more stories like able sisters+tom nook, maybe blathers and brewsters gay lovestory or something
  • buy different styles of fish tanks and bug boxes, a big tank for a lot of fish, ability to throw fish food in 
  • a new way to make paths instead of patterns with options for cobblestone, brick, asphalt, and sidewalk materials
  • in your encyclopedia an icon that shows if you’ve donated it to the museum 
  • ability to rotate pwps/houses
  • more animations, for example Jock villagers can jog around town
  • NOCTURNAL ANIMALS
  • library pwp with a new uptight librarian character that likes you because you’re so quiet
  • pwp on beaches+ ones made specifically for it like beach umbrellas
  • villagers contribute to museum and donate more to Pwp
  • areas away from the village you could travel to and explore, similar to the island, like woods, a winter world, maybe even some sort of planet you could unlock! Each have a few villagers or npcs living there, like the islanders in older games

  • BRING BACK GOLD SPOTS.
  • The tool belt has 4 slots, each corresponding to a direction on the d pad; up is the first slot, left is the second, right is the third, and down is the fourth. You could quickly tap up to get the slingshot when a balloon present is flying away, left when you see a big fish and get excited, right when those bees are chasing you, or down when you want to grab your shovel for a gold spot, perhaps.
  • Balloon Presents fly away faster on windy days
  • More seasonal stuff! Maybe Spring has rare flowers that only grow during that season, die when planted at other times of the year, and become more expensive in summer, autumn, and especially winter.
  • Selling food you made is about 500 bells more than just selling the ingredients alone (so, native fruits would be 100 bells each; native pies, say they take 5 fruits, would sell for 1000. Other fruits cost 500, so they’d be 3000 bells. Exotic fruits 250, exotic pies 1750)
  • More stuff to do at night
  • A more organized layout depending on how you answer questions at the beginning of the game; maybe you tell Rover you’re moving to a nice neighborhood (so houses are closer together, usually in line with each other, and in two small sections of the map, leaving the rest open for pwp and forests), or you’re moving somewhere wide open (houses are more sporadic; villagers set up houses wherever they want)
  • Bigger beaches!!
  • Different biomes… but not like MineCraft. Like, depending on what you say to Rover, the lower level of the map can be entirely a beach with special beachy villagers and more exotic fruits, or you can live somewhere more mountainous, which would be pretty much exactly as it’s set up in ACNL, OR you can live somewhere flat, where there’s only one level rather than 3.

Some stuff they could totally easily add, in order of realism:

1) choose your skin tone, and be able to change it later (maybe with self tanner, but preferably in a character customization place)

2) ability to add freckles and different eyes and hairstyles (like the wigs) and stuff during character customization, or being able to buy them as makeup! (MORE HAIR COLORS AND TEXTURES PLEASE!!)

3) let people build houses and pwps on the beach

4) be able to get rid of villagers (with some effort so it’s not too op)

5) more events like: bake sales where you make food (and it can raise money for PWPs) , flea markets, maybe a farmer’s market for the bake sale ingredients?

6) a couple ghost villagers that are partially see through, and other monster villagers (we already have Lucky the mummy dog, and he’s one of the most popular villagers!)

7) ceiling furniture/decor like in HHD (fairy lights, different ceiling lights, hanging plants and hanging chairs and vines)

8) being able to edit other people’s designs (lots of ways you can make sure the original artist stays credited, like letting the work have an infinite amount of titles when you click to scroll through them)

9) being able to edit and customize accessories and clothes, and more furniture customization options

10) backpacks and other bags; pockets can hold less, which you start out with. Or maybe bags just add extra space when you click on them in your pockets MENU (not in your pockets, as a side thing like your mail)

11) BAT!!!! VILLAGERS!!!! FOX VILLAGERS! OTHER CUTE ANIMAL VILLAGERS

12) Letting cat (and other) villagers be more fluffy and have more variety in their figure, not just recolorings with minor changes in shape.

13) Let us draw on Blanca’s face again! Bring pascal back to our rivers and towns! Maybe have a villager that you can customize like Blanca!

14) add more exterior customizations like: Christmas lights, inflatable decoration, more house model options like a TREE HOUSE that’s big and lush and beautiful like the town tree, not like the normal trees. Also an optional flag on your house you can choose the design for!

15) tire swings and wind chimes for trees (or your town tree, as unlockable pwps like when you get a perfect town)

16) ways to meet and play games with other players in-game (but don’t put so much emphasis on that, have it be a side thing like the island)

17) More jobs! That you actually get money for! Maybe they’re mini-game style, maybe they’re in meow-coupon-initiative style side quests!

18) You know how monster masks and a Santa outfit actually makes villagers think you’re a monster or Santa? How about selling whole costumes by themselves, like as a realistic suit. There’s a million possibilities with this, but it would also make it easier to do these things-and make it look cooler!

19) be able to put certain furniture outside, HHD style (and while you’re at it, let us put down ½ space items and walk through ½ an indoor space)

20) Give Isabelle breaks, be able to ask to hang out with villagers and NPCs like her (“where should we go mayor? Lead the way mayor!”), and be able to give them gifts-and have them respond, especially to mail and mail gifts

21) Have villagers ask about what to wear, not just about their greetings and their furniture.

22) basically just mash HHD with ACNL. We want to choose where villagers live and customize their houses. This is super fun, but we also want it to be challenging (or expensive) so it doesn’t get boring.

23) villagers go to the club more and dance and sing! They can go on stage and sing! Isabelle and other NPCs go there like they go to the café! If this means town hall will be temporarily closed, that’s not so bad considering you close it on every single holiday and fishing tourney…. so just add someone like Phyllis when she’s gone. Or make town hall closed from 8 to the next day, which can be changed with early bird or night owl town initiatives.

24) Give Celeste her observatory, and Brewster his gyroids.

25) Add more dresses and accessories and shoes and socks, and let us make our own accessories and give us more models of hats to design.

26) we should be able to demolish and move pretty much any PWP, including the cafe and campsite and police stations. Speaking of which…..

27) add a library with a grumpy librarian that you can make like you, like Sable-then maybe we can make books or comic books that we can share the QR codes for so we can put them in our homes. Or maybe we can work for her in a mini game for money (once a day tops)

28) You can make petitions or complete quests for PWPs, instead of needing villagers to request them. You’re the damn mayor.

29) if you leave your hair alone for a couple months, your hair is permanently ombré from the color before that to your most recent color. You can also choose boy hairstyles if you’re a girl, and vice versa. Or maybe your hair stays the same forever once you style it, and you can just choose an ombré effect.

30) INTERIOR options in Nook’s homes, like an aquarium you can choose the fish for. The option to let bugs roam free in your house (fireflies or butterflies if you catch one.) Basically he sells special furniture that has cool options, like the mannequins. Maybe he also sells a sewing machine, so you can make stuff when Able’s is closed. Maybe you need to unlock this special furniture.
