OK NO BUT SARAH LISTEN....when killua was rlly little he once rescued an injured puppy by the side of the road that had been abandoned by its mother. silva encouraged him to raise it as a pet n killua named the dog “wolf” and this dog was his pet for like a year and he was really really really happy with this dog !!!
one day wolf goes missing and killuas looking everywhere for him. silva has him, and he tells killua that wolf has rabies and needs to be put down AND it’s heavily implied that he’s lying and killua doesnt know any better because he’s a small child and ???? killua starts crying but silva keeps telling him that its what he has to do or wolf will keep suffering and die in pain. eventually killua kills the dog and silva congratulates him on being so brave and strong

That puppy was even given up on, no, because it was given up on by it's parent... Do you get what I mean? It would mean that the parent would put her other children in danger in order to raise this puppy. Because no matter what it does, it would get in their way. Remember that. This 'survival of the fittest' applies to everything in this world. Despite that, do you still plan on raising that puppy? Silva: Good. You did well, Killu. Until you grow up, there'll probably be lots of hardships. But don't forget about today. When someone's fatally hurt, you kill them. I'm sure that one day you will understand that. Because you carry the blood of a Zaoldyeck. Those are the eyes, Killu. Those cold eyes are the eyes of a Zaoldyeck. Once you've stained your hands with blood, you can never turn back.
what if i told u gon is a parallel to this... killua choosing to be with gon like how he chose to raise the puppy and he’s really really really happy with him but then there’s so many instances where he couldnt even fukin save gon and it just triggers memories from when he couldve save either wolf or the old cat in the novels !!! thts y you see his tendency of forsaking his life / given less thn a fuck about his life in order to make sure that gon is safe and : ) then : ) the chimera arc happened and gon was literally at the verge death and u cld see killua : ) crying : ) i mean ? : )
