As I am certain you are aware, your party elected officials in Congress are holding our economy hostage by threatening to allow default of US debt. Now, I realize that the GOP formally still projects it’s ideal as representative of ‘small’ government. Perhaps it just me, but don’t you think it’s a bit odd that these same ‘small’ government speakers are striving so hard to manipulate the voting rights of the American people, as well as the tidal waves of gerrymandering the designated districts for the absolute favorability of the Republican Party over all else? Also, do Republican supporters nationwide not know ANYONE who is on Social Security? Medicaid? Food assistance? No veterans who are owed support for what they sacrificed of themselves, in order to uphold American ideals? Housing assistance for those who are continuously struggling to NOT become homeless? I also realize that you are probably climate change deniers, but you can’t look anywhere without blatant reminders that the eco systems are changing, and not in a mostly natural way. Humans are responsible for most of it.
If you answer no to any of the above listed questions, then either you live in a utopian bubble, or you are absolutely clueless, because all of the funding to support the above listed are on the Republican chopping block. Because it is far more favorable for them to protect the billionaire mega donors who support them from having to pay any taxes, which would bring trillions of dollars into the governments coffers, than it is to support the citizens, many of who VOTED FOR THEM, by protecting them from homelessness, from starvation, from disease and injury for lack of insurance, from the climate disasters that we are ALL speeding towards. All in the name of tax dollars, and power, with the American people shackled and powerless.
Your party has mislead you.
Either that, or you are indeed one with them.
