Not necessarily, but even with this mindset, there's no way of knowing if the majority are in fact cishet. Some people are repressed due to their upbringing, and many more are agressively in the closet. I get why heteronormativity is a thing and understand that most of us are raised with the mindset of cishet being the "norm", but the truth is we don't know if it's the majority. Any gender/sexual identity other than cishet has been openly shut down for so long, that the idea of the majority having that label is kind of biased. For all we know the "majority" could primarily be made up of a very vocal minority.
