Sorry for the really long reply!
I used to mod Skyrim. I actually replaced the default hairs to make them like Pooklets. Modding Skyrim is fun, once you get the hang of it. I’m interested to see what you’ll come up with :)
Ohh, did you Pooklet them or replaced the hairs altogether? :O I downloaded extra hairs with this nice, rough texture (in the sense of medieval looking) and all of them are obviously Sims originally XD I like it the way it is though.
Modding Skyrim is kinda fun, but the potential for mod conflicts is huge! And so many other issues you’re not even aware of until they throw themselves in your face out of nowhere?? lol
So far, I got into SSEEDIT and edited out sexist, unnecessary comments from some mods (replaced with bath talk... some people in Skyrim really need to bathe more often) + fixed misspellings. Oh, I also tried my hand at scripting and failed miserably. Then I went ahead and just used some of the default scripts, and managed to make it so that when you eat soup/stew, you get an empty bowl back! + it also takes a bowl to make soup/stew (though I use CACO so it’s actually 4)
Right now, I’m mostly learning the CK through fixing up Navmesh and Landscape conflicts. I don’t think I’ll share any of them cause I... erm... used the original ESPs for many of my edits... xD But I could think about making some into ESL patches if things turn out really well. :D (and if there’s interest, of course + the mods are open permissions.)
Wow I clearly had a need to talk to someone about this! Truth is, I’m not really involved in the Skyrim community (yet?) and I don’t know anyone who plays it IRL, so I had no one to be excited about modding to, so it’s nice to find some people in the Sims community to share this with. I wont make it into a regular thing though (and if I do, I always tag as Skyrim Adventures.)
