Can I just say the lamb album has the most perfect opening piano sequence?

if someone close to you is disabled, you have to take that into account when you go places with them. you have to think about accessibility, fatigue, pain, flare ups, etc because its exhausting and hurtful when people who say they love you dont bother putting the effort in to make sure you ACTUALLY have a good time.

“I’m messed up. I’m as shitty as anyone else, and I’m as wonderful as anyone else too.”
Happy birthday to Peter Gabriel! · Born February 13th, 1950
Last Tuesday, my grandfather died after a long and grueling battle with Parkinson’s disease. I requested this song be played at his funeral today and got a unanimous yes vote from my family (and an absolutely from my grandma).
My dad, who would be the first to admit he can’t sing, actually read the second verse and the chorus to “Undertow” at his maternal grandma’s funeral in 1992. She died of colon cancer. This song has stayed with my grandma and her sister through the years.
I bawled like crazy hearing this song today, even though I’ve listened to it several times since last week. I cried every time, but this song has given me so much comfort. It’s allowed me to release my emotions because it’s the perfect song to play when mourning anyone who went through so much pain in their life and/or last days and can finally rest in death. The message stands whether or not you identify with a religion in this case. I always loved this about Tony Banks’ lyrics.
a very happy 70th birthday to Phil Collins!! (January 30th, 1951) we love you little gremlin man ❤️

So my dad made a parody to “I Missed Again” by Phil Collins and it’s called:
“Impeached Again”
(Here are the lyrics and yeah if you sing along it goes unbelievably well)
I see you finally came right out and said it Don
That didn’t take long
It was in your eyes
That look’s been there for far too long
He’s biding his time
Because inciting insurrection’s a crime
He’s impeached again
He got impeached again
Oh-oh-oh
He thinks about it all of the time
When he is lonely and all alone
He tries to forget
Yet he still can’t tweet on his own
He’s biding his time
Because inciting insurrection’s a crime
Oh, he’s impeached again
He got impeached again
Oh-oh-oh
When it feels like something that’s really bad
And then you know he’s got it
‘Cause it’s something he’s already had
And he can feel it all around him
But pretends that it is just not much
Oh-oh-oh
And he can feel it coming at him
Yes he can feel it coming at him
Oh, he’s impeached again
He got impeached again
Oh oh oh
