Pulling the covers around herself Y/N hid her head from the light glow of the morning sun that crept through the windows. A cold December air lingered about the house reminding them of the season that had arrived. She laid there the silence slowly lulling her back to sleep, until she heard the creak of the bedroom door opening. Poking her head up she saw her tall blonde boyfriend astanding there with a slight smirk on his face. He moved toward the bed and ripped the cover off the bed causing moans of annoyance to come from the girl who curled up into a ball trying to keep her body warm. He scoffed rolling his eyes, and yet that smirk never left his face.

“Hey, you're gonna want to get up," he said, catching her attention.

“Oh yeah and why’s that?” She asked as she picked up the blanket using it to protect her body from the temperature. Mischief glistened in his golden-brown eyes as he crouched down next to the best whispering just loud enough for the girl to hear.

“It’s snowing.”

As soon as those words were processed she sat up the cover still covering her whole body. Jumping out of bed she didn’t even get changed she ran and opened the door still in her pajamas.

“ What are you doing idiot you're gonna freeze to death”

He ran after her and as he got outside he saw her. The love of his life dancing out in the snow wearing cartoon pajamas. She was a lot and yet he loved her, so goddamn much, he couldn’t imagine life without her but he could imagine a future with her. He didn’t even think, his body moved on its own and next thing he knew he was reaching into his pocket and pulling out the velvet box. She turned around and saw him a ring in his hand.

“Will you-“ he started

“Yes! God yes!” She cut him for years streaming down her face, she brought him up burying her head in his chest. A laugh escaped his lips.

“At least let me finish” she hit him lightly, he moved her out from his chest taking the ring and slipping it onto her finger. Snow continued to fall around them as they embraced once again, The start of winter and the start of their life together.

‘Meet me at the tree house’

Y/N looked up from their phone at the tree house that stood tall at the back of the garden, It had been years since they had been here. Taking a deep breath they began to climb the ladder to the top of the tree house. Memories flooded Y/N as they looked around at their childhood getaway. Two hands slid around their waste causing them to suddenly turn around only to find their nerdy boyfriend kuroo grinning at them. Putting their head in his chest they stood there for a moment listening to nothing but the rising and falling of his chest. He grabbed their chin making them look him in his eyes. A soft smile graced their lips as they stared deeply into those eyes that They loved so much “Time flys by, it seems like yesterday when we were sitting up here and drinking air from plastic tea cups' ' he said with a sentimental look. Y/N let out a laugh as they placed their head back on his chest. He was right, life moves so quickly and that can be scary but you have to cherish every moment. Y/N was definitely going to cherish this moment in his arms. ———————————————————————hi! “Hey idiot” he shouted causing them to turn around. “I love you”

That simple sentence made their heart stop for a second. Never did they think that tsukishima would be the first to say that. It’s weird how 3 simple words could have such an impact on somebody’s life, on somebody’s relationship. They knew they loved him of course they did. He was arrogant and snarky,yes, but he was also observant and caring. He just found it hard to show it. They had been through a lot, they laughed and smiled but they also cried and shouted, but that was normal with any relationship. She looked back at him for a second before breaking out into a grin “hey beanpole!” She shouted just as he did before. “I love you too!”

He looked down at the journal that sat on his desk, it had been through a lot he could see the faint stains of food and the small coffee stains that laid on some of the delicate pages. This amused him, you were always careless and messy, and yet that was what he loved about you. I haven't been at this new school for that long but I'm already enjoying it,and I've actually started making friends. Unfortunately i have to go to a club and i haven't decided which one yet but i am considering becoming a manager at the volleyball club, now i know what you're thinking, me joining a club about sport. Well I have a very good reason for choosing said club.

April 21st 2012

Okay so maaaaybe I don't come up with the best ideas. Yeah so i went to the volleyball club after school and immediately got hit in the head with a ball. I made the best first impressions, but it wasn't all bad as I was laying on the floor the life slowly fading out of me. I saw my angels, my saviours, that's right hot athletes. They helped me up and I was introduced to the team. I was also wrong about the fact that i wouldn't have to do anything, it turns out that i have to do a lot but i already love these guys. Except for that tall bean pole who doesn't know how to shut his mouth. He called me short and I know I am but he doesn't have to point it out. Yeah well wish me luck.

Tsukishima looked down and skimmed a few pages until he found a certain page that caught his eye.

Okay remember that idiotic beanpole yeah well I may have started dating him He may be a sarcastic asshole who torments me but hes really really really hot and adorable and funny and we have play fight and i just want to hit him in the face on his lips with my lips. Gooood I can't believe he's done this to me but he's just so amazing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It's christmas and I got to spend it with my family and the volleyball team. They were all so sweet and we were having so much fun. All the thirds years where decorating the tree the first years were swapping gists and me nishinoya and tanaka where singing our hearts out to christmas songs. Near the end of the night tsukishima dragged me out to the balconie and we shared our, ready.

So it's time for graduation. I've been waiting for this since i started this year but now that it's here i'm kind of nervous . The future is always uncertain but that's what excites me, that i may not know what's going to happen but if i work hard maybe i'll be able to do something that i love. One thing I know for sure is that I will always have tsukishima by my side, i love him and i always will.

A tear dropped down onto the page joining the other stains that decorate the page. The blonde boy brought his arm up to his eyes wiping the tears that didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. He turned on his phone and saw a picture of you with a cheeky smile on your face as he gave you a piggyback.

‘June 12th 3;01 am’

It had been a week since the accident, you didn't deserve that you had a future ahead of you, a future with him. He reached down into his pocket to bring out a ring. He let his tears flow more as he realised that he was too late.
