#these are no longer heelies at this point but i dont care#also theyd need a power source from somewhere#i recommend attaching a brother to a leash and letting them pull him along#but i think theyd all be big enough to deal with the cobbles#not pictured#are the shoes with tens of wheels on springs attached to giant clown shoes#my crayons were not clear enough to show the springs

Half Alchemist:

  • Former child soldier
  • Refuses to speak for a significant part of the narrative
  • Thinks that not having to kill people is a privilege
  • Somehow still just a sweetheart
  • Full wizard, half alchemist

Musical Assassin:

  • For their own good their family locked them away for the first fifteen years of their life
  • Ran away to join a band, is now in two bands
  • Their second band is just a front for their implied sidegig as a teenage hitperson
  • Their cousin lovingly kidnapped them and tied them up in a public bathroom
  • Met their only friend on stan Twitter

Round 4, Semifinal 1

Dramatic Persona:

  • Inadvertently gained immortality and shadow powers by cheating a cult about 200 years ago
  • Incredibly particular about their tea
  • Utterly incapable of not being extremely ominous or dramatic in whatever they say or do
  • Keeps getting forcibly adopted by teenage superheroes
  • Fought vampires on a cursed ship thus saving a baby while repeating that their heart is dead and they’re not a hero

Half Alchemist:

  • Former child soldier
  • Refuses to speak for a significant part of the narrative
  • Thinks that not having to kill people is a privilege
  • Somehow still just a sweetheart
  • Full wizard, half alchemist

There will come a day when people have forgotten why it is called the Castle. All things fade, and even a ghost can only last so long in the face of eternity.

There will come a day where the Moat is not a moat, but simply a dip in the ground, a necessary barrier before you reach the ruins that lie beyond.

There will come a day where the Port has changed beyond recognition, and the once bustling trade city has become a quietly thriving village, overshadowed in grandeur by its neighbors upstream, simply the gateway to a historical site of mild interest.

And then will come the day when the researchers arrive, and they will discover that all is not as forgotten as it seems, for the land has a long memory. How could it not, being so infused with Magyk? The stones remember, even if there are no people to do so. The carvings in the wall, the dishes and tools and toys they dig up, tell the story of a well loved city, whose people thrived.

You may ask what happened to the Castle, but you will not easily find an answer. For it was Darke Magyk’s doing, and there is no Magyk left to reverse it anymore, or at the very least nobody to harness it.

So I decided to record the amount of times each character appears/is mentioned in Physik

I suggest you click on the image if you want to see what's going on down there...

And I also made a pie chart (appearances only)

There are 143 characters in Physik if you count Etheldredda's servants and the fishermen as one character

Also, this was heavily inspired by this post ⬇️ in which something similar is done with the characters of magyk

Septimus Heap: is a pretty lighthearted and funny fantasy book about 3 kids and a baby/teenage dragon

Also Septimus Heap: "It's a luxury Jen" he said. "What do you mean ?" Septimus stared at the scraped and bloody snow at his feet. It took him some moments to reply. “I mean…” he began slowly. “I mean that if you go through life and never face a situation where, in order for your to survive, someone else has to die, then you’re lucky. That’s what I mean."

#yeah i always found this really refreshing for a kids book#didnt shy away from the dark stuff

Absolutely!!!

Simon's from a litter of 7 puppies, and Jenna was the only girl in her litter, which is the reasoning for their names. Simon's 2 and Jenna's almost 1. My two other cats are Ivy, who's 3, and Jack (Jenna's brother)

Here's the progression of Simon and Jenna's relationship! He wasn't sure how to react to her at first, but he's used to her affection now
