I wish this feeling upon everyone who wants to wear a dress, its really the best
I am a Sukka shipper to infinity and beyond, but god, does it bother me that Sokka and Suki kiss in the live action. It was one thing for me when Suki gave him an unexpected kiss on the cheek and they kinda like each other but it doesn’t go anywhere and then he later falls for Yue. But then you got him kissing Suki and later him kissing Yue and I’m just like, “Bruh…”
amazing discoveries taking place in the heterosexual community
It gets better/worse lmao
finally im breaking into the fandom not three years later still thinking about the fact that Pomni can't remember her name and random gave her Pomni which in russian means "remember"
Silly doodle bc it was the first thing I thought of when I saw Pomni.
My brother just forced me to watch The Amazing Digital Circus and it’s amazing and then he goes and tells me that it’s unfinished and the next one isn’t coming until May like how dare you do this to me???
just delete the attempted joke
Why? I’ve already been called out and reblogged by a fan page and their followers. (Last person to send me an ask was a follower of mine, though) It’s not like that will disappear if I delete my posts. I may as well own up to what I said.
And my mother thinks I’m hilarious. (That’s a lie, no she’s doesn’t)
Critics: I mean, Rapunzel and Eugene’s age gap is kind of creepy and predatory.
Me: I get where your criticism is coming from, but I think it’s a bit—
Disney: What if we make it even bigger?
Everyone collectively: What?
Disney: Like what if we make it a plot twist for season 3 that he’s even older.
Me: Disney, no.
Disney: LET’S MAKE IT EIGHT YEARS!
Me: DISNEY, STOP IT!!!
I'm really confused by this criticism. How is it eight years? Rapunzel didn't stop aging after she came home, and the year that Eugene is revealed to be 26 is the year that Rapunzel turns 21. They even have her 19th birthday celebrated in the series (S1 finale). (She turns 20 towards the end of S2/beginning of S3, and the S3 epilogue is supposed to take place on her 21st birthday, according to writer Ricky Roxburgh.)
Eugene was 23 on her 18th birthday.
Was there not a plot twist in season 3 that made him like, two years older? I didn’t finish the whole thing because my brother said season 3 wasn’t worth it, but I remember it was a huge criticism that they made him older, and when I looked it up, 90% of the internet says he was actually two years older than the 23/24 he was said to be in the movie. Take out the “eight years” and replace it with whatever it actually is, if necessary. It’s still a weird choice to hear a well-known critique haters use to argue he groomed her (which I disagree with and hate) and then add more years to it. Overall, I love them to death and they’re tied with Shang/Mulan for my favorite Disney couple, and I wanted to make a funny. Sorry if I got my facts wrong or offended anyone with it. That’s why i tagged it as “critical,” so I wouldn’t upset anyone. My additional apologies if I accidentally put the regular tag there. I’m actually very relieved if I’m wrong. I just recall it blowing up online at the time.
Yeah, no, the series had him think he was turning 25 in season 3 and actually turn 26. But that would mean he was 23 three years prior, during the movie.
The area in which people are getting their ages crossed is that there is a popular misconception that he was 26 in the movie. This came from one single person who worked on the movie saying that he personally thought of Eugene as 26, long before the series was a twinkle in anyone's eye (unfortunately, I don't know who said this, but I was still heavy in the fandom when this information was spread around), despite the fact that the directors said they thought of him as 22-24. The series took this incorrect age and canonized it, but not until S3, when Rapunzel was turning 21, thus actually shrinking the perceived age gap between Rapunzel and Eugene from eight years to five.
However, people who haven't watched the series are still under the impression that he was 26 in the movie, and that's the common answer that Google will get you, because it's been the prevalent opinion since 2011 or so.
My apologies.
Edit —
Talking to my bro about this and asking for confirmation.
Bro: Maybe you should’ve finished the series XD
BITCH, YOU TOLD ME NOT TO!
You saw different things because his age is an internet debate after the series. If you dig a little deeper you'll also find posts saying "no you're wrong it's actually six." Don't beat yourself up over it. I van't recall if anything was confirmed by writers. I really recommend season three.
Thanks. My bad for not looking further. So did he actually not end up being older than he thought, or is that debated, too?

CONFESSION:
One thing I like about the female city elf origin is that it really hits home what Morrigan is asking when it comes to the Dark Ritual. In the origin, Vaughan gives you the option of walking away and leaving Shianni with him to save your own skin. And, in a way, Morrigan asks you the same thing. She asks you to convince Alistair to go through with the ritual, knowing that he does not want to have sex, so that you can save your own life. I like how it comes full circle.
Welp, that's enough internet for today.
Someone arguing why BG3 is woke cited that the default option for human is a black woman. No further argument. Not even anything about how it doesn’t match the setting. Just that the default human option is a black woman, which was definitely on purpose and therefore there is no denying how woke this game is. I’m glad the racists are telling on themselves much more readily nowadays.
