hey all, i am remaking my rolling donation post for my household, which currently consists of several black lgbt folks. our gas bill is going to be due soon, and i will be able to pay it, but will need help covering basic necessities like food and travel, as well as toiletries for myself and my housemates. we are also definitely going to need help paying our rent, which is $3,800. anything that folks can contribute will help a ton. donations can be sent to my venmo (@stemmomade), my cashapp ($stemmonade) or my paypal. thanks so much!

I really hate to do this but if anyone could please help me, i really need to get my puppy to the vet she ate chocolate and isn't keeping anything down. She's just a baby idk what i would do without her.

this is Sweet Pea!

she is a 2-year old pitbull mix <3 i found her on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, and she didn’t have a collar or a chip. when she saw me she came right up to me, wagging her tail and sweet as can be. she was clearly starving, and there was something wrong with her back legs that made it hard for her to walk. we took her home, cleaned her up and fed her, and brought her to the vet as soon as possible. the vets told us that they think she was hit by a car at some point because her left femur is severely broken and her right leg is dislocated :( and since it’s apparently been like that for awhile, maybe a month or two, fixing it won’t be easy. she will most likely need amputation for the left leg, and surgery to fix the dislocated right leg. we were able to cover the cost of her initial treatments, but the surgeries could be thousands of dollars and we need help. despite her injuries, sweet pea is so full of life and love. she adores every single person she meets and gets along well with other dogs too. she loves to cuddle and sit on my lap, and will always try to be as close as possible to the nearest person. she hasn’t barked at all and isn’t the least bit aggressive, she doesn’t even snap when people handle her broken leg. somehow she has figured out how to walk surprisingly well, hopping along with her back legs, and you might not even guess that she’s in pain until you see how bad it looks in the x-ray. she is truly the sweetest dog I’ve ever met, and with all the strength and resilience she’s shown in surviving so long alone with such severe injuries, and how much she is still enjoying life, she definitely deserves all the help we can give her.
