"Star Wars" actor John Boyega rallied crowds at a large London protest against George Floyd's death, telling demonstrators that "now is the time" to demand racial equality.

No Good Deed

This is a darkfic.  #A/B/O dynamics (my first)  #Non-Con elements; #Sexual tension #Hitchhiker Kylo #Reyisclueless #Alpha Kylo #Omega Rey

Approaching her 20th birthday, Rey has not presented and still believes she is a Beta. That is, until she picks up a lone hitchhiker on a rainy night.

A rainy night in a rural area of New York, not far from the Canadian border.

Rey was approaching Plattsburgh on North I-87 when the skies finally opened and a drenching rain came down. She had been hoping to make it to the hotel before the rain started, but no such luck. She hated driving in the rain, and to make it worse, she was in an unfamiliar area. She glanced at the clock on the dashboard: 9:23. Next exit, she’d get off the highway and find a room for the night.

Nervous about the wet roads, she dropped her speed back down to 50, then 45. There were few cars out now, and it wouldn’t do to skid off the road or into a ditch. She had no cellphone and no way to get help if that happened. A small wave of panic bloomed in her chest. It’s okay, she told herself. I’ll make it.

Just up ahead, she thought she saw a person walking along the side of the highway, but—no, it couldn’t be? As she got closer, she edged her speed down to 40 and flicked her brights. She couldn’t see very well, but someone was indeed out there on the road. The figure turned toward her lights and waved, trying to flag her down. As she slowed, Rey caught a flash of his dark eyes, and she bit her lip. She knew it wasn’t the wisest thing to do, but Rey was soft hearted; she could imagine how awful it would be to be stuck out here like that. And she did have a knife in her glove compartment, in case. So there was that.

Rey pulled onto the shoulder, her eyes trailing him in her rearview mirror as he dashed to the car. She lowered the passenger window halfway and the stranger peered in.

“You need some help?” she asked.

“Yeah, if you could get me to the nearest service station, or just into town, I’d sure appreciate it,” he said, breathing heavily. “Car broke down aways back. Cell died, too.“

Rey eyed him cautiously. “I’m heading to Plattsburgh,” she said, “so if that’s okay, you’re—"

“Perfect,” he said.

She pressed the button to unlock his door and he darted in. He was dressed in a red and black flannel shirt and jeans, all soaked to the skin. His dark hair was plastered against his head and his skin was pale. Strong jaw, full mouth; thick, dark beard.

“I’m Kylo,” he said.

Every 'I have a bad feeling about this' in Star Wars (1977-2020)

Thought it was funny how even though this was a running line throughout the Star Wars series, neither Kylo nor Rey either said it.  Hmmm.

Well, I’m a little disappointed with Tumbr.  I joined a month ago because I thought it would be a good way to connect with other writers, but for some reason that has been more difficult that I expected,  I don’t do things like “Asks” and the stuff I write might be a little too dark and different from what most Tumblr users like. I’ll continue to post on AO3, where I am slowly developing a following. Anyone who still wants to follow me is more than  welcome at AO3 and probably Wattpad and Fanfic soon.  All best.

Apologies in advance if I leave anyone out who wants to be tagged. Please just let me know.

All the best to the writers and good people on here. Thank you for your support!

Darkness Rises and Light to Meet it - Chapter 4

Chapter 4 – The Shadow

No violence here, just a lot of dirty talk and some SMUT.

Word of warning: It’s about to get a whole lot darker and steamier up in here.  Check the tags.

Union Square Café, New York City.  Thursday 10:24pm.

“This is where we’re going? I thought most restaurants closed their kitchens at ten,” Rey said.

Ben shrugged.  “Yeah, well Danny and I go back a few years.  I always try to drop in when I’m in New York.”

               “Danny?”

“Meyer,” he said, rolling his tongue around in his cheek. “He’s the owner.” Rey nodded; she knew she’d heard the name before, and that he was some hotshot restauranteur. “He’s not here tonight, but I texted him.”

Howie dropped them off right in front and Ben and Rey sauntered into the café. At this hour, there was virtually no food traffic—everyone else was leaving.

There was still a small group of people in the lounge area, but it was fairly dark and laid back.  Ben led them to a lounge table by the window.

“We can get a drink first and then we’ll order, okay? Order me a double vodka tonic and whatever you want.  I’ll be right back.”

Rey watched as he sauntered over to the kitchen area and greeted a tall man with salt-and-pepper hair.  They stood chatting for a few minutes.  A waitress came to the table and smiled at Rey.  She was pretty, with long black hair.  “What can I get for you, hon?”

Rey ordered a glass of Pinot Noir for herself and Ben’s double V&T. She glanced around the room, checking out the atmosphere. Ben had disappeared somewhere, probably to the men’s room, she thought.  She decided to look over the menu.

At the end of the bar, an older man was sitting alone with his drink.  He happened to notice her sitting alone.  He rose and made his way to her table.

               “Hello, “he smiled.

Rey looked up, surprised.  The man appeared to be quite a bit older than her, but he was not unattractive.

“Can I buy you a drink?” he smiled.

“Oh…no, thank you, I’m here with someone.”

“Right…of course,” he said.  “Of course, a lovely woman like you.  Well, he’s a very lucky man.”

Just then, Rey noticed Ben over the man’s shoulder, walking back to the table. He did not look pleased.

Darkness Rises and Light to Meet It - Chapter 3

Finally fixed the formatting in Chapter 3 and update.  More slooow burn. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 3 – Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself

Ben and Rey wandered around the small gallery for more than an hour, talking about art and life. Ben had a couple of glasses of wine but managed to reign himself in a bit, trying not to drink too fast and following Rey’s example. It wasn’t easy, though. She wasn’t much of a drinker. But it didn’t really matter—he didn’t even feel much of a need for alcohol tonight. He was drunk on her smile, her beauty, her lilting laugh. He followed closely behind her, listening intently as she talked about her work and getting completely caught up in the music of her voice. He was recognized a few times, but In Manhattan, most people were very cool when they saw celebrities, and did not approach or bother them. He was glad of that, so he could keep his attention completely fixed on Rey. When she raised a hand to fluff her hair, Ben noticed the graceful curve of her fingers, the line of her jaw... and he thought about kissing along the line of it, and down her neck. He wondered how she would react if he circled one of her sweet little nipples and sucked it into his mouth?
