HEY MARIBAT CREW

Recently a friend on the Maribat Discord has pointed out a solution to the antis! They’ve noticed that they haven’t got any hate from anti-maribat because on their posts they don’t use any of the DC tags. (ie. Damian Wayne, Batman, etc)

They also pointed out that when they searched through the Damian Wayne tag it was primarily composed of Daminette. Have you ever gone through a tag, only to see much of the content being stuff NOT related to the tag, when it normally should be? It’s frustrating, so it could be that! Of course, this in NO WAY excuses their behavior, that was unacceptable on every level, but it, at best, explains it.

They explained that perhaps they felt overwhelmed, they haven’t gotten any new content in a while so to be suddenly hit with an onslaught of Maribat content (which is meant for a very specific community, us) might make it hard to weed out. Which, in turn, can get irritating. I know it’d irritate me.

So, they proposed we use other tags! In future Maribat tags, DO NOT use the common dc ones, instead use ‘dc x mlb’ or ‘miraculous x dc’

I repeat, DO NOT USE THE COMMON DC TAGS. This could staunch the flow of hate mail and generally make peace with a lot of communities.

They also suggested that, when I asked to make this, we should go back and re-tag our Daminette posts to remove it from those DC tags.

I NORMALLY DON’T SAY THIS (actually I don’t say this at all) BUT THIS HAS TO BE REBLOGGED BY EVERYONE IN THE MARIBAT COMMUNITY.

One of my favorite devices in fics is when the narrator contradicts a character's internal monologue:
