Sonic Unleashed - Episode: Shadow
A bit of an old thing that I touched up recently, this was a concept piece for a story that I had been wanting to dabble out as a fanfiction. The Shadow and Tikal designs depicted here are based on the battle-ready designs I came up with a long while back.
The scene depicts events occurring during Sonic Unleashed. While Sonic is facing his own trials and assisting Light Gaia in restoring the world's continental plates, there is a great disturbance on Angel Island. The God of Destruction, Chaos has become influenced by the power of Dark Gaia similar to the Phoenix of Chun-nan, and has been transformed into the Dark Gaia Chaos. Dark Gaia Chaos has attached itself to the Master Emerald and is directly siphoning it's energy to strengthen Dark Gaia, making the god stronger than ever.
With Knuckles, the Chaotix and other residents of Angel Island being influenced by Dark Gaia's energy, the former guardian of the Master Emerald, Tikal is left with no options and seeks the assistance of the dark hero, Shadow, who has already got his hands full with G.U.N. relief across the planet. The two are required to work together to sever Dark Gaia's connection to the Master Emerald, and restore Chaos to his former glory.
Shadow Adventure - Visual Novel Project
Here’s some screenshots of a Visual Novel side project I’ve been having fun with recently! Using a really awesome website service known as CloudNovel, you can put together easy VN browser games with no coding required. Extremely efficient and fun to use, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has ever had an interest in making a Visual Novel!
My VN started off as a basic recreation of the Shadow Android scene from Shadow the Hedgehog, mostly because at the time I had minimal assets and it was a good scene to use since I could just re-use assets over and over lol. From then on I had fun just spontaneously adding to it, adding Tikal the Echidna assets and adding a bit of Shadikal fluff, and then subsequently building up to a full slice-of-life styled story focusing on Shadow. Still heavy WIP, as I’ve got a lot more planned for it. But even as it is with three scenes mapped out already it’s quite lengthy- The third scene ends with a branching route cliffhanger, so perhaps you guys can help me decide which one I should focus on building first!
