Wo: "You're a..."

He had gone back a little in surprise, but wasn't slow in returning to his previous position.

Wo: "D-do you mind if I ask you about yourself? I have only read about what you are, and I would really like to know more..!"

"Mhmm! Go ahead!" Nike grinned, continuing to float there. "I'll, uh, try not to be too boastful~"

Wo took some time to think of what to ask.

Wo: "Could I ask...about what you can do? I imagine that, as a mythical Pokemon, and, as a Fire-type, you are quite powerful."

He was then seen holding one of his tablets in one vine and something to write with in the other.

Wo: "Would you mind if I write down what you tell me? If not, I understand."

"Feel free to take notes." Nike smiled, clasping her hands together. "Now, what I can do is generate and provide infinite energy to people, which tends to help people claim victory." She said, opening her hands to form a small spark of energy.

Wo wrote down Nike's words as he heard them, then looked at her.

Wo: (his eye went a bit wider as he saw the energy spark) "How interesting! I imagine that the humans and Pokemon that you provide limitless energy and victories for highly appreciate your assistance too! I know I would! The ability to provide those to so many is impressive!"

"Mhmm!" Nike grinned, nodding before pausing. "Well... I say 'infinite', but it's more like 'a vast amount that regenerates pretty quickly'." She clarified. "There was something a few years back that tested the limit of that ability..."

He stopped writing upon hearing what was said last.

Wo: "May I ask about what happened? As much as I like to hear about near-limitless abilities of powerful Pokemon, I also like to know about what their limits are. Every ability has one, after all."

Nike sighed. "So, first, I come from a different world, like I'm sure a lot of pokemon at this sleepover are." She started, clearing her throat. "I say this because what happened was the Reshiram of my universe, along with the Zekrom, were both captured by this evil human called... Um... I... Don't clearly remember his name..."

"After he captured them, this horrible human forced them to combine with a third dragon, Kyurem, to try and recreate the original Dragon God of Unova under his control... It was a nightmare..." The victini shuddered at the memory.

Wo: "I came from Paldea, as did my family and a few of my other friends. My apologies for interrupting, please continue."

He continues to listen, becoming concerned upon seeing Nike's reaction at the end.

Wo: "I..haven't encountered many humans that have tried to utilize a legendary's power for negative purposes.. I hope that the villainous human that tried to do that in your world faced the consequences for his actions, and that you and the more peaceful human and Pokemon that you share the ecosystem with can live without strife of that sort."

Nike nodded. "So, after the Merged Dragon was created, they went on a rampage, causing incredible damage to my Unova... I needed to find a human with strong Bond Power." She explained. "Bond Power is what my universe calls it when multiple beings have a connection so strong that they give each other strength. The ability to connect with the hearts of others."

"The human I found saved me from getting caught when the Bad Guy's goon squad got me cornered."

Wo began to write again as he heard Nike's words.

Wo: "I am glad that a kind human saved you from having to face a terrible fate. Not that many humans would go that far for a Pokemon, but I do like to hear about those that do."

He looked at her after he stopped writing.

Wo: "We haven't done an introduction, have we? If you want to go first, I don't mind."

"Nike." She introduced, nodding. "It was the name I chose for myself when I first made pacts with humans over 200 years ago." The victini sighed.

"Me and that human who helped me, we spent 7 days straight fighting the Merged Dragon." She continued a little more with the story. "All the while he was channeling the power of so many pokemon to try to defeat the dragon. I have no idea what happened to the evil human who did the fusion, as he seemed to disappear during the fight." Nike went quiet a moment. "I just hope Lady Reshiram won't have to experience what my world's Reshiram did..."

"Ah! Sorry! I went and talked over your introduction!"

So, dumb idea has popped into my head. An animatic of the opening of Namco x Capcom (a game that never left Japan), but with the characters replaced by Poke Community characters.

While I could fill a chunk in with my own cast, having some volunteers would also be amazing. Though it may take half of forever with my energy lately.

And yes I am serious about this. I'll probably make a post about slots for who wants to go where in it later.

With how he rolled his eyes and sounded even more cynical, he didn't mean that apology in the slightest.

Lief: "If your relationship to fire was anything like mine, and you happen to know a few too many folks at home all too happy to throw it around? You get a little snappy at times."

Lief: "Maybe you'd better understand if it was a fancy-pants Water-type doing that instead."

Nike sighed and shook her head. "No, I sorta get it. But I've been at this for a few centuries. I've got a lot more practice and control than an overly-excited teenage hot-shot."

Lief: "Yeah, whatever... sorry, a few what-"

It took a moment for what Nike just said to register. He now gawked at her in shock.

Lief: "Heyy, just so I know... what kinda Pokemon are you?"

Lief: "Granted, I have heard of regular Pokemon living to be a little over one hundred, but there's only one kind of Pokemon I know that's said to be eternal, and it would be really funny if that's who I just criticized..."

"Oh, I'm a victini." Nike stated simply, shrugging. "I guess taking a human form for this sleepover would confuse a lot of pokemon."

In a small flash of fire (which was visibly contained by a barrier so Lief would feel more assured about her boasts of control), she returned to her normal form.

"Tada~"
