if anyone new here is concerned about this whole thing being a scam, the first pic is me and my SDit as a puppy last spring, the second pic is me a couple days ago with megace, a cancer drug that increases appetite to treat cachexia in very sick people. just one of several new specialty medications i take now, lol. the second pic has been edited to redact my personal information. the difference in how i look is substantial, at least to me. for anyone who needs more info in private, i can provide evidence of medical tests, care, meds, bills, whatever; can provide evidence of all that other shit with my car, family, service dog in training, etc too. i'm not okay, lol, and i'm not keen on dying before i even get to see the specialized oncologist. just the newest of many very cool tricks gd loves to play on eden 👍

Hey things are very bad here and I still need much, much more help than I have been receiving, despite the notes. I wouldn't ask if I had another option. Below are screenshots of just some of my unpaid, upcoming bills, as well as my bank account right now.

1. $410 I owe for my hospital visit and TEE for diagnostic testing, which yielded clinicially significant (and bad) results. This amount is what I owe out of pocket after insurance.

2. This month's upcoming car insurance premium payment. This is for just one month, this is the plan renewal month. I have no idea why it's this high given that I have never gotten a ticket, been in an accident, etc etc. It is much higher than before and extremely excessive, so I'll be shopping around for quotes, but as of right now this is what I will have to pay regardless and does include discounts.

3. Monthly financing payment for the car to replace the more "affordable" one I traded in after I was quoted at $9k to replace the engine... for what would have been the fourth time in less than a year.

4. My bank accounts currently.

I'd say to hell with it and just end it atp but it looks like my illness might do that for me before the specialty oncologist gets back to me anyway, so. You know. Please help or whatever.

None of these bills have been paid as of yet. I still owe $410 for diagnostics, $941 for one month's car insurance payment for some reason, $505 for my auto loan payment, etc. and these are not going to get paid on time/at all without help. I also need to go grocery shopping again and pick up my medications. Meanwhile, my bank account is now nearly -$550 as of this morning due to needing to eat, get gas, and get travel supplies for my job last week.

I appreciate everyone's kindness and support. I don't really even know how to keep going with all this right now. The care coordinator nurse through my insurance who is assigned to my case has upped the urgency of getting me to a specialty endocrinologist and oncologist since the referral process from my doctors was taking longer than we can really afford right now. Still losing significant amounts of weight, still incredibly tired and dizzy and in pain no matter how much I rest when I actually have the option to. Will update more when I know more, could use help meanwhile.

Israel is not only starving the people of Gaza but it also wants to ensure the spread of disease through contaminated water and surgical tools, as well as ensuring injured Palestinians suffer through horrendous pain.

For those who don't know, Rafah Crossing is closed. Meaning Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are technically not allowed to go into Egypt through Rafah Crossing (with exceptions, like holding a foreign passport) so in order to evacuate, Palestinians need to bribe Egyptian border security officials. The standard price used to be about $5000 - 7000 per person but some Palestinians have been told to pay $10,000 per person just to cross the border, forget other expenses like food and boarding.

For a group of people who are enduring genocide and the complete destruction of their homes that money is impossible to raise without the help of fundraising. That and the collapse of the UNRWA is the reason you're seeing so many Gofundmes nowadays. The entire aid system is gone with the exception of local aid organisations that have limited reach.

So if you see a credible fundraiser, please at the very least share it so it can reach more people. This list by @el-shab-hussein is a good place to start.

There are a few fundraisers for Sudanese families also! Don't forget to donate to Mohammed Qadas, the first fundraiser in the 'Other fundraisers' section. His case is super urgent!!
