Inuyasha’s ears twitched at the sound of her voice and his eyes opened again just in time to see her getting into the water, detailing her nice figure. He blinked a few seconds later realizing he had been staring and looked away as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink.
“This is nice. I’m glad there’s not many people in here right now.” the hanyou spoke softly while staring at the water.
「巫女」:: She slipped into the warm water, slowly, her hand clasping at the top edge of her towel as she did, She licked her lips-and the fact that he looked away and stared at the water didn’t escape her, though she didn’t know if she could blame him for it. She suspected she’d do the same exact thing…
And in fact, kind of did. As she sat beside him she peered off in the other direction, her hands circled around her knees.::
“…Well-there’s not any, really…Unless you consider the mischievous monkeys not paying any attention people…”
::She replied…Though-he could…Consider them people, she supposed. She could too–just really, really primitive people.::
Inuyasha looked at her through the corner of his eye as she slipped next to him, his ears coming down after she spoke up. “Of course I don’t consider them people, I was just saying.” he grumbled and crossed his arms. “Was just saying that I’m glad we’re alone... Don’t care about the damn monkeys.” the hanyou said, a little annoyed as it was usual of him, while looking at the furry animals that were chilling nearby with them.
Inuyasha nodded his head and his eyes followed her for a moment before she disappeared behind the bamboo to get rid of her clothes. He realized he had to do the same and simply decided to do it right there now that Kagome couldn’t see him, wrapping the towel around his waist.
Well, if they were going to do this, he should try to relax and not overthink the situation. He wasn’t a perv like Miroku anyway. Once Inuyasha was done, he left his robes on a rock before getting into the hot water, letting out a heavy sigh, his shoulders finally relaxing.
“Ya coming?”
「巫女」:: She’d been counting on that…She wouldn’t get into a unisex onsen with the houshi–that’s for sure…Though; maybe if Sango-chan was there too-she might have…Sango-chan was better at keeping Miroku-sama in line.
In any case-she exhaled softly and set her clothes aside too, before she stepped out wrapped in her towel and smiled at the fact that he was already in. She moved toward the water’s edge.::
“Yea, yea, I’m coming~”

Inuyasha looked ahead to where she pointed, giving a small smile once he saw the steam coming up. He simply nodded and kept walking until they made their way to the onsen.
Inuyasha got a little uneasy, not knowing exactly what to expect. The place was quite empty, which he thanked. Definitely didn’t feel like dealing with people at the moment.
「巫女」:: She’d resolved to not think about what was going to happen, or could happen. She decided she’d just go with the flow. Whatever happened, would happen.
Once they arrived she smiled at the fact that it was empty too—save for a few mischievous monkeys on the far end of the pool, but they could deal with them. With a glance back at the hanyou she sucked on her lower lip a little-and kind of vaguely pointed…::
“I’m-gonna go strip down over there. Be back in a moment…”
::She gave a quick smile and vanished behind some large bounders and bamboo so she could do just that-and tie her towel around her frame.::

“Is it too far away?”
「巫女」:: Well-he wouldn’t get answers if he didn’t ask. She was no mind reader, after all…And the towel would not answer him, though, he knew that. And who knew if it’d make her slap him? Wouldn’t know till he tried. If he tried.
She got a grip on her face and exhaled slowly-dissipating the red cheeks that had threatened to make their appearance. She glanced back at him finally and shook her head.::
“Not too far…See-there’s the steam from it~”
::She pointed off ahead.::

A little after he asked, a thought came to his mind that made his whole face turn as red as his robes. “W-wait a minute… are you- are we gonna-… is this for us to get in the same-… Ugh nevermind.” he just gave up since he couldn’t come up with a full sentence, not knowing how to word his question without sounding like that lecherous monk.
「巫女」:: Mostly it was because he was never one to agree to do this kind of thing…Nothing much else to do at the moment or not. Partly it was because of what he tried to ask about after. She looked at him again and arched her brows, pondering prolonging his embarrassment by pretending not to know what he was asking about–but that’d probably just wind up in another fight…
She drew in a breath and held it for a moment, steeling herself for the answer before exhaling and looking off ahead.::
“….Mmmnn….Yea….We’re gonna be in the same area…There’s only-one onsen…THAT’S part of what the towel I gave you is for!”
::She explained, and trying to not turn red now herself…After all-she’d suggested this, she should hold her poise at least::

“I- a-alright.” he stuttered before they left the hut and went down the road that lead to the onsen. “Why are you so excited about it?” he wondered, genuinely curious.
「巫女」:: She smiled and tossed him one of the towels she’d pulled out of her bag as they walked along. She was just fine altering the subject anyway. Still wasn’t her wrath that he’d have to face, it’d be their friends’ wrath….But at least he’d be semi relaxed for it after this~.
She canted her head at him as he asked her why she was so excited about going to the onsen with him. Still smiling she shrugged.::
“Didn’t expect you to agree~Especially to agree to go with me. I’m really happy and surprised that you did though.”
“Why wouldn’t I wanna go with you?” the hanyou asked, really not understanding why she thought it was so unnatural of him to agree. Yeah, he normally wasn’t that type of person, but they didn’t have that much to do in the mean time, anyway.

“That’s… a nice idea.” he said with a small smile, liking the sound of a warm bath. “Yeah, let’s go. Where is it?”
「巫女」:: She could do that if she got mad–but ultimately she wouldn’t. She had other ways of disciplining him that did not involve an involuntary face-plant. But he could try to argue about it–she was just as stubborn as he was though–and would never take back her comment that he had selective hearing~!
Either way-she brightened up when he seemed to like and agree with her idea of going to the nearby onsen. She didn’t think he would–so it was a pleasant surprise.::
“Really?! Wow! Okay-Come on then-I’ll take you to it!”
::She beamed, and dig around in her bag for towels, because-they’d need them, before she stood up to lead the way.::

::She muttered, and then looked up at him as he changed the subject. She figured that was the best she was going to get for him admitting she was right. She shrugged a little, and rested her chin on her arms.::
"I haven’t the foggiest idea~ But I do know we can’t go anywhere till Sango-chan and Miroku-sama come back…So-I’m guessing a few hours; or some…before we head out again-at least.
“So–we can relax till then…I think there’s an onsen near by~”
::She grinned at him::
“Wanna go and try that?”
Inuyasha gave her a look as he obviously heard what she muttered, but decided not to say anything else knowing well what she could do if she got mad. His ears twitched slightly at the idea of going to an onsen, actually interested.
“That’s... a nice idea.” he said with a small smile, liking the sound of a warm bath. “Yeah, let’s go. Where is it?”
Inuyasha, stubborn as always, rolled his eyes and grumbled, not wanting to accept the miko was right. “And what did you want me to do then?! We’re in the middle of damn nowhere right now and I was hungry, we would’ve had to eat that anyways!” he replied with annoyance, pointing at Kagome’s bag.
「巫女」:: “I told you already…You could have come and asked me to make you something. Man–you have selective hearing sometimes…”
::She sighed somewhat, sending a side glance at the yellow monster, but ultimately looking back at him. It meant the same thing anyway.::
“Oi! I don’t have selective hearing.” he grumbled and crossed his arms. “How far do we have to go anyways?”
