I like these fourth-wall-breaking Dan and Phil who know about “phan”
They’re fun.
It’s a vibe.
They don’t give a shit anymore.
Also I like their jammies ☺️
Also also, Phil regularly saying fuck *chefs kiss*

Love how my phanfics are getting kudos again ✌🏻
TDLR: I liked it. And I'm surprised by how much I liked it.
Like many, I grew up watching the show. The anticipation watching the countdown for the 2 hour series finale, watching marathons with friends in their room on a tiny box called a tv. I loved the original, so much that I rewatch it annually even as an adult.
Watching the live action made me feel like a kid again...
Now, the live action isn't perfect, obviously. You can't take 20 episodes from a cartoon full of fluff and side stories and characters and slam them into an 8 hour new series. There were major changes to the original story, but that doesn't mean they don't work. Those who are shitting on the live action are just upset that it's not a carbon-copy of the original. But did you want it to be? The live action took the major plot lines from season 1 and crammed them into a the new/same story that would work, and it still made sense.
*Spoilers ahead*
