Okay. I'm talking about this.

As it's... A combination with everything going on with Moon right now.

The legacy he feels he needs to live up to, the family he failed, and his grief of Solar.

But think it matters that he takes Solar's death exceptionally hard.

Solar was the only person in New Moon's early life who actually got to meet Moon as Moon.

Everyone else in New Moon's life.... Sun, Lunar, and Monty all came from Old Moon's life. And he had to fit the role he was awoken to.

Earth he got to officially meet, and Earth essentially raised him at the time when Sun was going through it. Which is why Earth being so hurt by what Moon is doing, burn all the more.

Not only that, but Solar had no preconceived notions of what old Moon was like. Aside from his own Moon.

So Solar was strictly Moon's. It's why Moon attached himself so hard.

It's not just his own self doubt and self-esteem problem. It's just Solar actually knowing Moon. And not projecting old Moon or his legacy onto him at all.

Which is why Moon feels so consumed by it now.

I want Solar to be brought back by Eclipse, and For Solar to punch Moon. Hard. Cus it wouldn't be the first time Solar has had to punch Moon or talk him out of doing something reckless.

And then they kiss /jk

Moon crying in Solar's arms because he misses him so SO much, he doesn't even care that Solar just punched him, he just wants to be the one held in arms for a moment and cry all the pain and exhaustion that he couldn't cry before. And Solar is just there, still somewhat upset by Moon's actions in his absence but... he can't really get mad at him, plus, he's happy to be back. So he's just letting Moon vent while the rest of the family gives them a moment to be together because they know how much they both (and especially Moon) need this.

And then they kiss because the sentimental connection between these two is so strong that words fall short when trying to explain it ☝️
