Tropical Scourge
Hey, just to let you know I'm waiting for the day when I can buy part of the enamel pins you made a kickstarter of on your etsy or somewhere else! And looking forward to maybe another kickstarter continuing on this series for more animals, eventually!
Oh thank you so much! I hope to sell some leftover stock again after I graduate this Summer, I’ll make a post on my twitter (lynxspots) when I do. Also have another Kickstarter planned. I really appreciate your interest. :)
Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I just watched your Fire Fox animation, and it is one of the most beautiful works of art I've seen. Cheers!

Hi everyone!
It’s been what? A couple of years at least!
What happened, Holly? Where have I been? What have I been doing??
I think a few of you will want to know: Am I still drawing Zelda?
The short answer is: No I’m afraid not.
I put a LOT of hours into working on Zelda’s Diary and I loved it dearly but I have this terrible habit of turning everything into a 300 chapter epic. Which meant I was spending all of my freetime working on a story that could never be “mine” and I think that started to weigh on me.
With the announcement of a BOTW sequel in development it put out a lot of the fire I felt I needed for closure and I just sort of ran out of steam.
I’m terribly sorry, thank you so much for reading. I hope you had as much fun as I did because I learned SO MUCH on that project.
So what have you been up to, then?
Well I actually thought to myself: Now I have a better sort of understanding of what I like to draw, the kind of stories I want to tell and who I want to tell it to which was kind of… you guys!
I took a lot of the themes and ideas I had for ZD and found they filled a lot of blanks I had in mind for an old story I wanted to tell and I just sort of… Started my own Original comic.
I know it’s not exactly what you followed me for but I hope you’ll consider giving it a read. It’s a sort of spiritual successor to what I never got to say with ZD and I think if you liked my Zelda works you’ll like my story about Wales and Fae folk too!
Here’s the Synopsis:
Arian knew that fulfilling her role of Princess and heir to the fae realm was never going to be easy, but it’ll be much harder without magic.
If only she could forget about that boy in the woods…
Set in the magical realm of rural Wales, Arian is a tale of fairy folk, mystery and romance.
Arian is out on Webtoon NOW!
Thank you so much for your support, I’ve missed you and I hope you’re all safe and well!!
Holly’s comic is gorgeous! Please check it out!

I love life in Paris, but with the lockdown I find my mind wandering back to Scottish woodlands and the last gentle hike I took with friends before I moved here. The first thing I'm doing when the lockdown is over is disappearing into the French countryside all day. Also I am a plant.
Not over the time someone was like "I wanted to DM you this on tumblr but I forgot your url" and their partner just turned to them with great disappointment and said "Keilidh"

How did you make voices in you "Fox Fires" animation? (They sound really fitting to the atmosphere of the story and it was a great idea to make the Moon and the Animals speak a "foreign language" of sorts!)
Thank you for your ask but I’m afraid I don’t know how they were done! I hired a sound designer named Dirk Kluesing.
