If this will be your first Night of the Nocturne on Flight Rising, here are some tips:
- This event is 2 weeks long, so don’t feel like you have to spend all your dragon cash immediately to get whatever apparel/familiars/etc. you’re after. This especially goes for anything that can come from one of the Strange Chests.
- On that note, Noc eggs will probably decrease in value as the event goes on, as will the breed change scrolls and G1 Nocs
- With the exception of the Bears, all of the items released for past NotNs have cycled in during future NotNs, so don’t worry if you don’t collect everything you want this year
- Don’t convert the NotN food items for points, and don’t hoard sell the NotN trinket items. These are used to get Strange Chests from Swipp.
- Open all your Strange Chests BEFORE the event ends! They will disintegrate into dust once NotN is over.
veteran players, feel free to reblog and add any extra advice you can think of!

do people even like playing glimmer and gloom. the payout is only 4000 on very hard???? you guys torture yourself for that ???? repeatedly ?!!!!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
genuine question, is there another fairgrounds game that can fill up your treasure meter faster? because before g&g i did artifracture, and before that it was shock switch........ both of which are much slower than g&g
at least with g&g hard mode i can autopilot while doing it and watch some youtube in the meantime

Once I got used to it, solving a Very Hard puzzle takes around 30 sec. each, for a total time of about 10 min. to max out my Lucky Streak.
oooh ok, sweet! this guide rules, ty!! this was kind of what i figured was the fastest, but i just wanted to double check :'D
i was using this guide/tool and still struggling a whole bunch, required lots of explanation from the very patient and helpful @dire-vulture to just figure out what it was trying to tell me to do, haha. my brain just does not seem to be wired for this game and it has never made a lick of sense to me since it was introduced however many years ago. i honestly don't think i'll ever understand it. I'm a jigsaw man personally (i average abt 20 minutes for hard ones) but I rarely take time to max out my lucky streak on the daily any more, I tend to just fairgrounds for fun but I wanted to get that last damn glimmer & gloom achievement today lol

I am currently dealing with a lot of debt & expenses related to the fact that I've had to replace my computer, my furnace, my oven, my fridge, and my sewer line all within the past year, had to quit my nice-paying job due to transphobia & bullying, have been struggling to keep up with house payments, I had to pay for my husband to go to California to pick up my cat bc my parents are divorcing and were going to give her away without my knowledge, and now one of our cars is broken down & I am without transportation to my new job.

Collect one point for everything you have done on Flight Rising and total your score at the end!
Dragons
- Have more than 10 g1s in your lair (gened, ungened doesn’t matter)
- Have hatched a g1 double
- Have an XXX of any popular color
- Have at least 1 of every dragon breed
- Are or have been a mono-lair
- Have a dragonsona of you or your online persona
- Have a dragon that is part of a subspecies
- Have a fan dragon or a dragon that references something (lyrics, people. animals, plants, etc)
- have a dragon with a valuable ID or hatch date
- have a rare color combo dragon (e.g. only dragon not exalted with XYZ)
Familiars and Coli
- Have at least one of the sprites
- Have at least one of Fiona’s familiar recolors
- Have at least one of the coliseum boss familiars
- Have 3 or more level 25 dragons
- Participated in your own flight’s dominance push
- Participated in another flight’s dominance push
