Hey just wanted to say sorry for the silence again! I’ve been doing artfight and it’s been taking more of my drawing time than I expected! So I’ll hopefully be back once it’s over or closer to the end of the month!

The new circus in town has finished their show for the night. One of the performers stands outside to wave off the crowd as they leave. Care to ask them a question while they’re free?

Nifit adjusted the sleeping Peep on his before continuing, “She told us to run, to stay away from humans until she found us again. So that’s what we’ve been doing for a while now. I hope she finds us soon.”
Cave turned in Nifit’s grip to look up at the drakloak, “how bout you and I cut a deal! No need for any guilds or authorities. You and you’re sister are running from something, I know the look. I know some people who could give you a play to stay and lay low for a bit no questions asked. You let me go and I’ll tell you how to get there! Simple.”
Nifit considered the suggestion, a troubled look crossing his face. He sighed before addressing Rubix, “thank you for the offer but I can handle this from here.”
He looked down at the hybrid, “Alright I’m willing to give you a chance, but you have to take us there. No running off.”
Nifit looks to the lightening sky, “it’ll be day soon, we should find a spot to rest but I don’t want to let him go just to have him steal from someone else.”
Cave never really bothered to fight against the drakloak’s hold and continued to simply dangle like dead weight, “I don’t have a say in this do I?”
“No because you’re a thief.”

Peep: “Adventuring? What kinda adventure stuff are you doing? Can I play adventure with you too?!”
He wiggles a little in Nifit's grip, "could you, uh put me down? Please?"
Nifit glares down at him "No. And do you just snatch any bag you see?"
"Of course," he says like that was a dumb question. Drifit rolls his eyes at the answer.
The hybrid falls with a thud and lays there dazed. He rolls over to look up at the drakloak glaring down at him with a sheepish smile, "you uh, dropped this." He holds the stolen bag infront of his face.
Nifit snatches it back with a huff while Peep hisses at him.

Ancient Dragapult
These strange dragapults are rumored to be from the original dreepys and have haunted the lands since their deaths. Their powers have continued to grow as they aged leading them to be powerful foes, however this subspecies is mostly veiwed as legend as they are almost never seen. Reclusive, they travel the night looking for their lost children and adopting any they find on their way. They are fiercely protective of their children and will fight viciously to protect them. It's superstition that if you were to see one of these beasts at night that death would haunt you soon as well.
Peep yawns, seeming to drift off as her brother answers the questions. He gives a small sad smile, "it is nice to have her around though, we help each other out. Especially after..." he shakes his head, best not to saddle strangers with your own issues. Especially not a hattrem who probably wouldn't appreciate the emotions that come with it. "But we try our best to keep them from happening even if some are unavoidable."

“It’s like…it’s like…” She murmured, clutching the Ring Target a bit tighter. “It’s so weird, it’s like-”
She was so distracted, she almost didn’t notice she was being spoken to. She let out a small gasp when she did, and a few moments later registered the question. And when she did, her frown turned just a tad more confused. “Um…”
All eyes went to the ground…except one, again. It wasn’t even a conscious thing, her focus was just…split. “I…don’t know my way around. All I know was the berry patch I was at earlier…and it was Candle who brought me there after I woke up on a random tree branch and wandered a bit. He…he was the one who would’ve known anything about the layout of this place, and…even he had only ever lived in here. You’d probably know more than I do, I don’t even remember…how I…got here.”
Her frown turned sour. “Why can’t I focus………?!” She grumbled quietly, perplexed and annoyed now.
Woah! It seems both Peep AND Nifit are susceptible to the curse! Interesting! Will it claim something from the pair, or will they get off easy, I wonder?
