Hockey is not for everyone. Not yet. But it should be. - Akim Aliu (Co-Head of the Hockey Diversity Alliance)
y’all.
i don’t think some of you understand how much the flyers had to overcome this season. the way they came back from 1-3 was honestly amazing and i KNOW none of us thought they were going to do that. be happy your team got to where they did and stop bashing them. this is not the last season, they’ll have another chance next year. of COURSE they did awful in a few games but we can’t change that. the islanders were a really tough team and the series went to a GAME SEVEN. some of you are acting like we got swept.
just. maybe be happy your team did what they did and stop bashing them.
proud of you // september 5 2020

Rest In Peace, king💔
One of these is not like the other. I’ve always called myself an islanders fan with a high head and a soul filled with pride, I’m horribly disappointed.
@Sportsnet: “The statement they’ve made today is something that’s going to last. These two days aren’t going to fix anything, but the conversations and the statement that has been made is very powerful, especially coming from this league.” - Ryan Reaves
