Hey guys, I wanna start by apologizing for being inactive. I think I needed time to think about what to do next.
I've come to the conclusion that I will stop writing. Tumblr was fun while it lasted but I regret even starting writing on this app and getting attached to people who couldn't care less. I never felt welcomed here, like everyone had their little group and I was always put aside. I don't know if it makes sense but yeah, it sucks.
I want to thank all of my followers for the support, you made this place a littler better even if we never interacted.

There was a steady rhythm thumping through the headphones in your ears that effectively drowned out the world around you. The soft chirping of the crickets through the window screen you left cracked open for some air and the hum of your laptop fan was only audible in the 5 second silence between songs. Completely engrossed in the words you were typing on the screen before you, the bright white light was the only thing illuminating you or any other part of the room you were in. A deep bass that vibrated through your eardrums and had you unconsciously bobbing your head to the pace it set. Nights like these when you were lost to the music and the flow of your fingers across the keyboard were starting to become more and more frequent. Occasionally your nails would tap on the wooden desk you sat at, trying to retrace the trail of thoughts that briefly lost its path.
Should you have gone to bed hours ago when your boyfriend offered? Probably. Sleep hadn’t sunk its fangs into you just yet and that ever growing to-do list sitting on the corner of the desk wasn’t going to complete itself.
With your current project on full display on the monitor, you didn’t get the chance to see just how late it was. Your eyes darted back and forth between the screen and down to your notebook where you continued to scribble new notes or adjustments as they came to you.
