"Rough night..." Bruce groaned as the blood stained Bat-suit laid on the bathroom floor and Bruce was at the mirror, attempting to stitch a wound and failing.

Claire got worried as she saw the blood. "Wait. Let me help you." She said and walked over to take the needle out of his hand. "You need to be more careful. I can't stand it to see you like that."

Bruce let her take the needle and finish his stitch work, not that he was any good. Alfred was always better but Claire smiled when she did it like a sweet nurse or angel.

"I know and I just upgraded the armor but I guess it needs more work. So how was your night?" He asked as a way to distract the from the scene of her sewing his wound.

Claire was very careful with the needle. It wasn't that Bruce already had a lot of scars, but she wanted it to heal as good as possible.

"I could ask Shuri if she got more of the vibranium fabric for me. She made me a suit out of it, and it's totally soft and lightweight and absolutely bulletproof." Claire offered. "My night was good. Your bed is way too big without you but Ace kept me company.

Claire had steady hands as she mended Bruce. He wondered what she couldn't do.

"I'm sorry but we need to figure out how you can join me out there without being Hawkeye so no one suspects Batman and Bruce Wayne and Claire Barton are together. I have a few ideas but I am glad we are finally able to be in public without hiding." He smiled.

"And don't worry about the bed, It won't be lonely anymore tonight." He kissed her forehead. "I can talk to T'challa tomorrow about a new suit for me. Right now, I would just like you out there with me again."

"Only two more stitches." She thought out loud and looked up at Bruce. "What idea do you have? And let me tell you, I'd choose Bruce over Batman. I would rather have Hawkeye and Batman not working together than making our relationship a secret again." Claire gave Bruce a soft smile and then kissed him above the wound she had just finished stitching up. "There. All done."
