[doesn’t react] [he’s lying he’s gotta be lying, she isn’t going to fall for it not one bit.]

I... [he sighs heavily] I met a guy similar to me, you know? Taken from his parents and raised by the Organization, just like me. He made me realize that all they were telling me were just lies, they just wanted to twist me so I’d act as it was convenient for them...

[another sigh] And it made me understand how terrible of a person I was. I’m... honestly disgusted with myself now. To think I really thought it was okay... it makes me sick.

[doesn’t move] [falls completely silent, barely breathing.]

Morgiana...

[GROANS] [sighs heavily, he can’t see her but she should be still able to hear him, right...?]

Look, I... understood finally that the way I’ve been treating you, the way I’ve been treating everyone was... anything but right. You didn’t deserve that, none of you did.

It’s… Ah, it’s enough. If not for you helping me here I’ll probably die. Or damn close. So thanks… Friend.
[He held onto him, hoping they could get out of the dungeon before he bled out. He leaned on him for support but as they walked further they saw double doors.] There…. I think that’s it.. The treasure room…

[He let out a pained yelp when he pushed the cloth under his hand, but he looked back at him. He pushed it against his wound a little more despite the pain it shot through him, knowing that he needed to to at least stop some of the bleeding or he’d never make it out of the dungeon.]
[But ah, all the people who could heal him didn’t want anything to do with him….]
Thank you… Jamil… [he yelped again when he pulled him up, but he held onto him as best as he could, his other arm holding the cloth over his stomach. He used Jamil for support as they walked]

Don’t mention it. You got the Dungeon for me and helped me until now, it’s obvious I’d help you too... even if it’s not much. I’m getting you out of here, though.

[ He sighed softly but smiled nonetheless, looking around as they moved forward; the door must’ve been there, somewhere... or so he at least hoped, it would suck if they’d have to walk like this for a longer while. ]

[Oh god blood wouldn’t stop coming out. No. No this was fine. He’d be okay. He’d dealt with worse before. Like the time that giant freaking headless djinn crushed all the bones in his body. He kept his hand on it to try and keep it all together but that was kind of pointless.]
[He looked at Jamil, his face scrunched up in pain. Right. They had to get out of here before it happened again. Shame he never learned healing magic.] Shit… I can walk… [He started to push himself up and practically fell right into Jamil°.]

[ He just frowned, glancing down at the injury; not thinking much he just removed the cloth from his hair, pushing it under Judar’s hand. ]

There, hold it like this... I doubt it’ll help much but it’s something at least. Now come on...

[ Not really waiting for response, he just took his other arm, pulling it over his shoulders as he slipped his own arm around Judar’s waist, helping him walk as he moved forward. ]

[Good! And Judar would be there every step of the way to support him! But definitely after they got some rest.]
[He just stood there in pain, staring at the claw going through him, and yet when his shaky hand when to touch it it just seemed to go right through it. He felt the sticky blood drip from the wound to the ground. When Jamil got closer with the staff, the creature hurriedly pulled out and fled at the light and Judar collapsed to his knees, gripping at the wound.]

[ Once he got back to Judar, his face paled instantly, this was not how it was supposed to go; he honestly just stared at him for a moment, his thoughts running wild as he panicked inside somewhat, not knowing how he should react. ]

[ Finally though, he kneeled down next to him, lightly gripping at his shoulder as he looked at him, visibly worried. ]

Can you walk? They seem to really stay away from the light, so as long as we have some we should be fine and now we seriously need to get out of here...

[Judar would agree that they made a good team. It was kind of nice, really. He liked Jamil, if he started to act like this for everyone he was sure that with time the others would like him too]
[But for now he was faced staring at a staff off at a distance in front of him. He was too afraid to move. He knew he had to get to the light, to his staff, but if he stayed still maybe the monsters wouldn’t attack? He stared for what seemed like hours even though it was probably closer to a few seconds. When Jamil suddenly moved it snapped him out of it, but he wasn’t sure if it was the movement that caused the monsters to attack or not. As he was pushing himself up, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his side. When he looked down there was a… Was that a claw? - going through him, one of the monsters right behind him.]

[ He was going to work on it! As soon as they’d get out of here. that is, and maybe when they got some rest, since this adventure was honestly so distressing... ]

[ He moved forward maybe a little more slowly than he should, but he tried his best to not trip over the pieces of fallen walls as well; he figured it won’t do them any good if he loses his balance now too. It took honestly all of his self-control to not turn around now, even though he was aware of how pointless it would be, everything behind him was pitch black and he wouldn’t see Judar nor either of these monsters no matter how hard he would try. ]

[ He reached the staff finally, quickly picking it up; coming back to Judar he was much faster, he couldn’t be bothered with being so careful anymore honestly and at least he could see where he was walking. ]

Exactly! So if we just keep the light on them, hopefully they’ll stay away! [He held the staff high to make sure to get as much light as possible around them. He was lowkey terrified that the second light didn’t touch one of them, the monsters would attack.] Yeah, you definitely can’t miss it! They’re pretty obvious! Large double doors of some kind, really grand! It should stand out like a sore thu- [At about that moment his foot connected with something, probably part of one of the walls that had crumbled. With the speed they were running at it was impossible to regain his balance and the momentum caused the ground to raise up below him until he hit it hard, the staff - and it’s light - tumbling across the floor away from the both of them]

That sounds good! [ He looked at him for a moment, smiling proudly - they made a good team, he supposed. Even though it was so weird to realize he could actually make a team with anyone, without trying to use them... ]

Yeah, sounds like something easy to spo--- [ Seeing Judar trip over, he was honestly terrified. He froze for a second, his thoughts running wild as he tried to figure out what would be the best to do now - eventually, he decided to jump over to grab his staff, figuring that it’s probably the best if he gets it back to the Magi as fast as possible.

[Hey whatever brought comfort, right?! They needed it right now! He kept running, but he could tell that they were being followed, just out of the range of his light. As long as they had the light from the staff, they should be fine, right?] Stay close! The riddles must have been hinting they don’t like light! Try to look for the treasure room! A large door!!!

That would actually make sense, with them hiding in the dark and all!! [ He still ran, looking around anxiously - partially to check on the monsters, partially to look for the door he mentioned. ] I guess I won’t be able to miss it?!

Avatar
Exactly!!!! So, uh…. RUN!!!! [starts hightailing it the fuck out of there, holding his staff for light high and heading in the direction they didn’t come from]

[ There was no need to tell him twice; at the command he just spun around and jolted forward right behind Judar, he didn’t even bother hiding his sword, even though he felt like it won’t help much, it still felt minimally comforting to at least have a weapon. ]

Avatar
Hell yeah we’re gonna run!!!! Do you wanna fight those things?! Who knows how many of them there are!! Ugh, it’s creepy as fuck. Stop staring at me! [He jabbed his staff threateningly at one and it backed up from the light, not because he was scary in the least . He wasn’t.]

Well, it sounds like a great plan if you ask me?! Running I mean, not fighting them, I--uh. We can’t even see them properly! [ He kept holding his sword up but something deep inside was telling him it wouldn’t help at fucking all; he was getting honestly scared now, with all these eyes getting closer and closer... ]
