My mom never really noticed. She noticed when she was breast feeding my little brother and blood started coming out instead of milk. 

My mom said she felt and saw a little lump in the shower. She was lucky enough she found it at stage 2

My mom had a mammogram. The radiologist thought the spots were just regular calcium deposits. 

Turns out it was triple negative breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nods. Mastectomy, radiation and chemo saved her life.

This could SAVE a life.

Reminder that anyone who grew their own breast tissue can get breast cancer. That includes trans women, intersex peeps, and cis men who may not have been aware there could be some breast tissue in there. The only way to be sure you don’t have any at all is if you’ve had it all removed. If you’ve had tissue removed for reasons other than cancer, they likely didn’t remove all of it. If you find something weird, regardless of who you are or how you identify, get it checked out.

Porn Bots Are Hacking Accounts!

So I had noticed a few days ago that @woodendreams, a blog that I don’t follow but shows up on my dash from time to time, has suddenly started posted pictures of women, but you know what’s odd? 

They are a nature blog.

I believe that they have been possibly hacked by a porn bot, since the names under the pictures link to a porn site.

Please, do NOT reblog or favorite any of the pictures of the women that have been/are posted to their blog, and please check any of the blogs you follow or show up on your dash that have just a picture of a woman with their named linked under the image.

If you see that they suddenly have an influx of these types of pictures PLEASE notify them of what’s happening!

With everything that the staff have fucked up on the site, I’m worried that an innocent blog might get flagged, or censored, or even suspended/deleted/banned because of this.

Please, signal boost this as much as you can to spread the word; I have no idea how badly this could get, but this may be the start of a HUGE problem.

when this happened to me, I immediately logged out of everything & changed my password, then went to my queue, where I found whoever had hacked into my account had dropped 190 porn advertising posts. (it would have been easier to clear out my queue entirely using xkit, but I’m a stubborn jackass & had posts I wanted to keep in there… so I counted.) I don’t recall clicking any odd links (though it’s always possible) & was only online in the app at the time, so no chance of phishing. it’s possible some of these bot accounts are just running dictionary attacks on blogs at random trying to log in. anyone can be targeted by this, so I recommend making your new password a strong one. it’s doubtful tumblr staff is going to be much more help in this situation than what you could do on your own, but you can still save your page. good luck & godspeed.

Right so this lady was smart, if you’re ever in a sedan-style trunk there’s a little pull tab that you can use to get yourself out that is STANDARD in cars built after 2001. It’s the law just like headlights and seatbelts.

if you are in an SUV style vehicle or newer model car you may be able to find the automatic trunk release wire, pull on it, it will pop the trunk

if you can’t find any of that stuff,look for the brake light housing. You will need to pull back the trunk carpeting and feel about. It’s probably bolted in, but some careful wiggling will dislodge it. If people see a goddamn arm waving out of a hole in a car while they poke along I-95 they likely will do something about it

please help me; physical fight broke out between me and my parents and i need to pay for school

hello, i feel awful and pathetic doing this but i really need help.

my parents have been physically abusive in the past and even more emotionally abusive, and have even threatened to give me up to CPS/put me out on the streets, all while my mental health has been deteriorating. two days ago, after hours of being berated by my parents and me trying to explain my depression and anxiety, my parents became physically abusive. i have not been home since and have been staying with a friend, but i am currently broke. i do not know if or when i will be allowed back.

i would not be doing this if i had any other option, but considering that i leave for college in a month and have been getting very minimal hours of work at my local tutoring center because i will be leaving soon, i need help paying for gas/food and my college orientation fees while i am being financially unsupported. i have considered getting a second job until i leave for school but no place is willing to hire me when i can only work for one month.

i am scared, and i don’t know what to do. i have a week to pay for my orientation which comes out to $95. i will have to commute to the school for orientation and continue to commute to work which is $50 in gas, and need help paying for food while i am staying with my friend, and i hope $30 will be enough.

please, anything helps. even a reblog could help me out greatly.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish. 

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately.

This is fucking important. I am glad someone fucking spoke about this and said what they had to say. The damage is terrible, and all the evergreen, stone, even the ground is black. I was fucking terrified when Croatia was burning. The fire was near a village where I like and I thought it will burn down. I thought the church will burn down. I thought the cemetery where my grandpa is buried will burn. I still remember the smell of smoke, and when I went to check how bad is fire, my clothes and hair and skin all stunk of smoke. It didn’t go away for weeks.
