Results: Good Omens season 3 wish polls

I collected some wishes I've seen fans have for season 3 and made polls out of it. Thanks to everyone for voting diligently! Making the (33!) polls, reading comments were a lot of fun to me! Here is my a summary of the results. The bold answer is the most voted one. We will wait and see if some wishes come true ... As soon as season 3 is out I plan to come back for a check! I leave it to future me to make what actually happens in season 3 italic!

Prepare for a long post under the cut!

Pt I good omens but i've never watched it

i've never seen good omens but it's all over my tumblr dash so this is what I've gathered can someone please confirm if i've got it right

  1. there's a demon named crowley
  2. there's a biblically inaccurate angel named aziraphale but like it's very sexy when the demon calls him 'angel'
  3. the demon and angel have been married for 6000 years and they still keep looking at each other all sappily
  4. Neil Gaiman is somehow involved, I think he's the writer but also he's on tumblr (uh, @neil-gaiman) and people keep questioning if he's real
  5. is neil gaiman like a fandom inside joke why is everyone asking if he's real
  6. there actors are called michael and david and amazon prime thought they were the same
  7. there is a bookstore and crowley is sad
  8. they kiss and it is very nice and desperate and crowley says we could have been us. i have no context for this. someone is going to heaven i think.
  9. there is a god, i'm not sure if they're good or evil though
  10. the demon wears sunglasses
  11. it's a comedy but for some reason everyone's crying after whatever the last season was, are you guys okay
  12. things are on fire
  13. they are very gay
  14. there was a book and at one point they switch bodies
  15. more fire and crowley screaming
  16. they are called ineffable husbands i dont know what that means
  17. they fight crime or they do crime or they fight crime by doing crime i really cannot remember which
  18. gay

Aziraphale pulls down when doing a miracle, because he’s pulling down from Heaven

Post-Fall Crowley pulls up then snaps. Showing that he is pulling power from Hell

Pre-Fall Crowley does both. He pulls down and slightly up then pushes forward because there isn’t an Earth yet. He would be pulling power from anywhere and everywhere. There would only be the divine.

When they perform the Jim miracle together, they both slowly pull respectively from their “own” sides

Anonymous asked:

Do you have any advice for young women?

In general? Sure. Read whatever you can get your hands on, but especially work written by women. Put your hands in sticky things at least once a week (clay, paint, dough, soil), don’t date anyone for a few years, travel when you can where you can, learn the skill of listening to your body— rest when you are tired, eat when you are hungry, drink when you are thirsty, and move when you are anxious. Swim as often as you can. Try to live alone at least once. If you can’t live alone, make time to be alone often. Carry pepperspray and do not learn to hold your tongue. Learn to sew, or weave, or knit. Unlearn the impulse to apologize for things that are not your fault. Pleasure yourself. Every once in a while, remind yourself of how loudly you can yell, how quickly you can run, and wildly you can dance. Allow yourself to cry for your mother. Spend as much time as you can in female-only spaces. Spend even more time with older women. Listen to their stories. Memorize their gray hair and lined faces, their swollen joints and sagging breasts. Cherish the gradual appearance of these things in yourself as an inheritance. Hold hands with other women. Spend some time naked in your home. Adopt a cat, or a fish, or grow some caterpillars into butterflies on your window. Eat heartily and drink to enjoy it. Go hiking and scream from a peak somewhere. Sometimes, allow yourself to act like a child again— climb a tree, scrape up your knees, and lick cake batter from the spoon. When you clean your home, open all the windows and beat the dust from all the curtains. Laugh loudly. Do not become self-deprecating to encourage others to laugh with you.

childhood was so crazy. my parents were kind of young. a meal seemed to last forever. i could run for ages. everyone was alive

You can fall out of a tree and be fine. You climb things without thinking and end up hurt and you're fine. Eat actual dirt and you're fine. What I want to know is why I was invincible as a kid and now if I stand wrong my whole body gives up on living.

The key is to still eat dirt
