Reblog if your a kinda "meh" FITBLR

You know, sorta bad ass on occasion when your not swamped with life stuff. You want to prioritise it more but things keep getting in the way. You’re super jazzed about fitness but sometimes it doesn’t go to plan.

Sometimes you’re a fitblr, sometimes you’re a shitblr and that’s OK. Reblog if your you’re proud of the fitblr days and meh about the shitblr ones.

Hahaha thasss me!

Poor Person Fitness Hacks

WE ARENT LESS MOTIVATED, we just live in a real world!

- Run to mcdonalds on your 15 minute lunch break grab that salad ask for no dressing.

- Get grilled chicken sandwiches instead of fried. add mustard instead of mayo.

- Swap the fries for a fruit cup, fast food fruit cups SUCK but hey its something.

- Drink your water, STOP saying “Ill just get a diet coke”

- Add a dash of lemon or lime juice to give your water a little taste

- When your studying for that exam do some squats during your break.

- Park further back in parking lots, adds more cardio to your day.

- Try and pack your lunch, and NOT Chips and Soda!

- Try grilled, sauteed, or oven roasted vegetables, if your not a salad eater

- Dont be afraid to season your vegetables with garlic, onion powder, pepper, Italian seasoning, pretty much anything you would use for your meat.

Let me know if you guys want more simple and easy everyday things for everyday people???

* Because not all of us have time to meal prep, we dont all have 1 hour for lunch, we dont all have money or means to buy pure organic whole foods, and lastly we cant all find the time or money to go to the gym.

🙌🏼

- canned fruits and veggies are still fruits and veggies. Plus they won’t go bad if you don’t get around to eating them right away.

- water is usually free

- meat is actually pretty pricey. Eat smaller portions of it to help it last you longer and try adding potatoes or beans to fill that gap if needed

- peanut butter sandwiches 👍🏽

- peanut butter and banana sandwiches 👍🏽👍🏽

- trying to cut back on chips but still crave the salt? popcorn actually isn’t all that bad for you and there are quite a few healthier options for it

- darebee.com has a ton of free body weight workouts you can do in your spare time

- really low on food funds for the week? Canned black beans, canned pinto beans, taco seasoning, and tortillas. Throw in a bagged salad for the veggies and you’ve got a nice taco meal.

- also, scrambled eggs on a tortilla with some salsa and bam. Breakfast burrito.

- depending on where you live, Kroger chain stores keep having buy 1 get 1 free sales with their vitamins. Stock up on the good stuff like iron, calcium, or even fish oil when you can.

- Rice, frozen vegetable mixes and frozen chicken. Thaw, cook, mix in a bowl and you have a pretty decent and balanced meal.

- Pre-cooked rice saves time, but it can be more expensive. Make a bunch of rice in a single go then put it in the fridge and just use the microwave to heat it up. That should do the trick.

- You don’t actually need organic food.

- If you have the space, remove all obstacles or anything you can trip on and just walk back and forth when reading.

- FitnessBlender offers a bunch of free workout videos with or without equipment.

- If you can, walk during your breaks.

- No, really, season your vegetables to give them a new twist.

- If your fruits and veggies start looking a little bruised, don’t just throw them away. Most of them are safe to eat if you don’t eat the bruised bits.

- Consider making your own weights at home! Sometimes it’s as easy as filling an empty jug with sand.

Alllllllll of that… plus.

If You’re Unemployed

Create your own workouts. Go to the playground and use the monkey bars for pull ups and benches for elevated push ups. Nerdfitness.com has a lot of geek challenges including the Konami Code workout which I’ve incorporated into my challenges before.

American Ninja Warrior has motivated me to clean my backyard, put shit away, and mow the lawn to create some obstacles in the past. This year I did a few things at the park, the running plus box jumps, plus other moves.

Help a neighbour out, check on the old folks, rake some leaves, mow the lawn, shovel lots of snow in the winter… work on those arms some more. Save up to buy a tire at a car repair shop and take it home to work out with. Yes, that’s some crossfit and hardcore workout there, but do stuff.

You have a basement? Do some stair workouts, walk up and down those steps as many times as you can to get a sweat going. Stay hydrated.

Too lazy to go outside? Watch Netflix. 12 seasons of a show you might want to play a game and start doing push ups whenever your favorite character acts like a douchebag. Do squats whenever your favorite characters brother dies. Jumping jacks whenever a character dies and comes back to life…. lol

Phone Apps

Zombies, Run! Start at season 1 and go from there. A fun story mode app where you are runner 5 and the world has been infected by zombies and you get to build your own compound, collect weapons by going out for runs but watch out zombies are out to get you.

Fitocracy. Get points for working out.

Nike Plus. Beat your own record of miles, add people and check how their doing monthly or weekly. Chances are you will see people that are into marathons and 5ks.

Pokemon Go. Don’t look at me like That! PoGo has that pedometer installed. Hatch eggs that are 2k 5k or 10k by walking, running, or riding bike. Walk over to the nearest gym and take over or make new friends and defeat a pokemon.

And my favorite… join Tumblr and become a member of the fitness community lol. Join a challenge from anyone that is doing one at the start of the month or the middle of the month. Look for 15 minute workouts that has your favorite superhero character. Compete with other fitblrs in a fitbit challenge or fitbet or runblr.

I get a bunch of organic greens for $5 and a pre-made grilled chicken(Also $5) from Safeway. This last me about two lunches. Most grocery stores offer some variety of this.

Tested out looks for my best friends wedding and then laid in bed playing on Snapchat. It's been a relatively lazy Sunday. I spent 7 hours driving yesterday and then stayed up watching the fight. I did get in a shoulder workout today. My knees are aching though so I decided not to go run. I'm so ready to get through this week because Thursday I leave for connecticut!

I've been sick the last few days but that won't stop me from getting a sweat on. Taking it easy since my nose is stuffed and it makes it challenging to breathe. I haven't eaten a whole lot today either which isn't the best but I haven't had a huge appetite.

Working at home because I'm sick and everybody voted me off the island yesterday and sent me home. The best part about working from home is I can get my sweat on during my breaks. Did a quick 15 minute workout and got my sweat on. Ps cardio is challenging when your nose is stuffed, but now it won't stop running.

Love their reactions. They aren’t worried about being emasculated, they aren’t insecure, they are just genuinely impressed that she’s lifting like a beast!
