    “ ——  what precisely are you doing ? ”  perhaps what he means to ask, IS WHY;  what reason this creature could possibly have for touching his hair, with little to no warning. it is a warm  &  gentle gesture, but one which leaves him feeling uneasy. humans oft draw a familiar negativity from within him, but this person evokes a whole other kind of discomfort;  inexplicable, and difficult  TO PLACE.  could it be:  this is no human, after all ?  such a thought is both soothing and unnerving. still, kogarashi remains tense  &  ever vigilant.

    his snarl dissipates;  lips begrudgingly purse, albeit scowl remains. the presence before him indeed feels like that of something inhuman;  unlike himself,  &  yet strangely familiar.  (  ——  though he would  MUCH PREFER  to scare the other away and be done with it, kogarashi has reason to believe that… it would not be that simple.  )  slender fingers rise, hesitantly tugging  BACK  dark tresses;  of which had most-forgotten the feel of another’s touch.  “  i do not take kindly to those who do as they please,  ignorant of the consequences. ”

    kogarashi is low-key genderfluid;  at the very least, quite in touch with his feminine side. although he was born a male cat  &  takes on the form of a human man, he has  (  both in the past and present  )  been mistaken for a woman. his hair is long and well-maintained, skin is fair  /  delicate to the touch, and although his body appears quite strong, it is slender and lithe. that said,  &  especially for that time period, he would be very tall for a woman  (  standing at 5′9″  )  ...  and most people would double take;  recognise their fault.

    despite his initial lack of response, the action jerks an instinctive itch from within him;  not quite irritation, but something greater than that. be it his fur, hair or flesh:  for another being  TO TOUCH  him without having been granted permission first  &  foremost is absurd.  (  ——  chewing on his hair, indisputably, is a whole other level of nonchalantly disgusting. the drool will be unpleasant to wash off …  )  but just how should he handle this, he wonders  ?  brows settle into a scowl, fingers fidgeting at his side;  restless, albeit tense.

    “ ——  and that’s no concern of yours. ”  the words escape in a near-hiss, bright eyes narrowing;  never quite as discreetly as he tries. it would be so easy to tear his throat out for such insolence,  &  yet  …  perhaps these passed years have made him softer.  (  or maybe, he simply  ISN’T WORTH  the effort.  )  with the subtle twist of lips’ corner, kogarashi extends one arm and shoves the other away from him;  just as swiftly, takes a step aside. he considers, what a peculiar choice of words.  “ …  further, how would you know that ? ”

🎀  does your muse like to accessorize ?  what are their favorite accessories ?

although kogarashi does not spend a great deal of time  on his appearance, he does at least prefer to look somewhat kept together and tidy. his hair is incredibly long,  &  asides from tying it up-  he quite often uses a red ribbon to hold some  BACK  (  …  albeit most of the time he ties only a bundle of hair, and in turn it may simply become an accessory for the sake of appearance.  )  he prefers the loose feel to his hair when it isn’t entirely bound, and thus never entirely braids it;  only some, to one side.

🎐  does your muse like to collect/hoard anything ?

kogarashi travels quite often,  &  thus prefers not to accumulate too many material goods. that said, he has had a few different homes, or at least places where he has settled. when he has the space to decorate, he quite likes to gather  SMALL ORNAMENTS  and statues.  (  one example is a small bird which touda;  the man whom he befriended many years ago, carved himself.  )  although he is quite drawn to items which are shiny / interesting, he doesn’t often collect them;  if he does, he later leaves them behind.

🖖  what fandoms would your muse belong to ?

honestly, in many modern verses he’ll look out of place-  but not unbelievably so ?   i think he’d best fit fandoms with historical  /  fantasy  /  potentially even  HORROR  genres. that said, in his main verse  ( ? )  he is still around during the modern era, so i guess  …  that wouldn’t matter anyway, lmao. kogarashi could probably be shoved into most au scenarios;  even superhero ones, though he’d maybe fit a villain or vigilante  /  anti-hero sort of role better in that sort of situation  …

though  HE’D DENY  it religiously, kogarashi thrives on praise. it means nothing to him if it’s from a stranger, of course;  especially if it’s a materialistic compliment.  (  ——  he can understand beauty, and has lived so long under the guise of a human that his own perception has warped to fit a more traditional / more human perception of what that is, but fails to recognise any within himself.  )  although he still struggles with feeling things like remorse and disgust towards  HIS OWN  actions, what he knows of morality  &  tragedy make him consider that perhaps he is monstrous;  sometimes, he would like to be assured.
