Having heard David Tennant mention it in a few press interviews about Good Omens, I gave his show There She Goes a try.

It was truly amazing. One of the best pieces of television I've watched in ages. So, so funny. So sad as well, sometimes at the same time as it was being funny. I cried so many times...sometimes I would be almost crying with laughter and then one minute later I was crying for real.

It is harrowing at times but I didn't find it a hard watch at all. In some ways, it's about the worst happening and finding ways to get better, which for me anyway is a lot easier to watch than a show about everyone being horrible and getting worse.

I really can't recommend it highly enough, as long as you don't mind having your emotions wrung out like a wet wash cloth and your heart stamped on five seconds after you were laughing uproariously.

Here's a fab review in the guardian if you don't mind some spoilers:

Hey, yall with celiacs!

The FDA has allowed companies to not label things with gluten allergens. This means that, once again, the gluten free label can deceptive, and we need to start reading through all of the ingredients again (unless it has the verified label from GFCO). I'm not entirely sure how far this goes, but if looking for treats, do Not believe: cadbury cream eggs, newman o's. They are not gluten free. Stay safe!

Here is an example of the GFCO logo, they verify that advertised gluten free foods actually are:

Either of these logos means that a food has been verified by a third party company that is not the FDA (who has proven we cant trust them). I'm not sure about other verification companies, but I trust this one because they certify gluten free within celiac sensitivity standards. If you know of any other companies, feel free to add!

Once again, stay safe!

Non-celiac people are encouraged to reblog this.

ID: Image of two GCFO logos.

The first one is in all black and has the abbreviation “GF” in a black circle. Above and below are the words “Certified” and “Gluten-Free”.

The second logo has the words “Gluten Free” and a large lowercase “g” in purple and outlined in green. Above and below reads “Certified” and “GFCO.ORG”. /end ID

Just showed my 5 year old daughter (who has no knowledge of the show) the Doctor Who clip…

Her response: “Oh, she turned into a dad.”

Not sure if David Tennant should be insulted or flattered…

let’s flip the script

instead of

❌ I don’t want to cook. I hate the time, effort and energy it takes from other things.

let’s try

✅ Cooking means I will put something healthier and fresher into my body. I feel proud when I create something. The process can be meditative and calming when I take my time.
